Thank you very much for all of the FE gifts. My girls loved both delivering and receiving gifts. (and they are 16)

The biggest hit of a FE gift was the crayons and carrier. My girls were ecstatic. The friends we were traveling with did not particiapte in the FE and her girls (also 16) were very jealous of that gift.

So, if you saw 4 16 year old girls coloring each night at dinner, it was probably our girls.

It was good to meet the few of you at Currents! I almost didn't make it, either. It's hard to stop when there is so much going on but I'm glad I did!

I didn't make it because my mom insisted that I go to the DVC meeting on the OFF chance that I could win $200. I didn't win but I did have 4 Mimosas. HAHA, beat that.

My biggest lesson this week ---> Pack less. Our biggest suitcase came home with clothes that were never worn. The only good thing about this is I don't have as much laundry to do.

I brought home lots of clean clothes, yet somehow, I still have a MOUNTAIN of laundry.

Another thing I learned - you have to have your citizenship docs when you return to port. Yes, one would think that i would know this by now, but I didn't. I was the crazy lady sweating bullets while tossing all of my belongings out of my bags trying to figure out which suitcase our BCs were in.

Uh, wait a minute, that's MY story.

We had such a great time, we booked the Fantasy for next June 16th!!! Got DH HOOKED! lol He LOVED the food--guess the old saying is true about a man and his stomach! LOL

LOVE the music CD! Was jammin' to it this evening. Now that's the kind of music they used to play at the sail-a-way party and it was SO much fun. Why did they have to go and, as my sister said best, "commmercialize" everything? I'm trying real hard to not be negative because we had a really great vacation, but there just seems to be a lot of disappointing things this time around.

Another giant thank you for the fabulous FE gifts!!! They made the cruise extra special and memorable.
We got caught up in all the activities and didn't find time to book our next cruise. Now we feel very silly.

Well finally made it home! What a loooong drive. Back to reality; so sad it's all over. We booked a "dummy" cruise hoping to cruise again in 2013.

A really big THANK YOU for all the great FE gifts, my kids are going through them as we speak a second time!

We had such a good time, I really enjoyed all of our discussions on the thread!!!! It was a pleasure to meet all the ones that I actually got a chance to meet. My daughter also made a friend for life from these boards! Hope to see you all again on a future cruise!

I don't know if this was only us, but we caught kids helping themselves to our FE stuff once (and I wonder if it happened more than once). I'm sure the CD suffered that fate.

I know we 'lost' 2 magnets. DH was really upset, especially because one was his hidden mickey one. That's when they got relocated to the inside of our cabin door. I hope we didn't lose any FE gifts but I guess I'll never know.

I was changing the ears on my in-laws door every day - first just Mickey ears, then Minnie, Goofy, Pirate... she actually thought someone was "stealing" her ears!

I didn't notice anything missing, but we were in a pretty low-traffic area. Then again, with all that stuff on the door, who would notice??? The only ones walking past regularly were KellyB and JKLMNOP, who I suspect were randomly writing notes on our white boards...

Hello Everyone!!!

I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and post a reply. I don't have a laptop so once we left 2 weeks ago I was really in the dark. We had a rough trip home last Sunday. We made the 11 hour drive to Chattanooga to spend the night, but unfortunately our room was above someone with a sleeping baby. For those of you traveling by car with kids, it was pretty hard trying to get our 4 little ones to act like we were at the library. We had 2 encounters with workers as our kids were being a bit too noisy for the sleeping baby. We managed to get through the night, but it made it rough. Then we finished up the 6.5 hour drive on Monday. We got home about 4pm and had to be at the baseball field for a game at 5:30... And from there it has been non-stop all week like we never had a break. Baseball M/W, Cheer W/F, and I finally started my new job Thursday. I don't have a computer at work to check in with all of you so this was my first chance to catchup with everyone.

I'm glad to hear everyone had a great trip. I love Disney Vacations and am always SO Sad when they come to an end... I was roaming the ship until 2 am on Sunday morning taking one final picture, and just a bit more video. Checking out the animated art I'd seen over and over again. The cast that takes care of you truly made us feel like a part of the family it's hard to say goodbye. I'm envious of you that have return sailings booked... I don't think we'll get back on the ship until 2015-16 timeframe. Next year we're headed to Hilton Head for our first time, and then in '13 we're trying to take Grandma and Grandpa to Aulani. Then in 2014 I assume we'll head back to WDW to see the new Fantasyland update, which leaves an opening in 2015 for another Disney Cruise.

We had a great trip though, we spent the 4 days prior to sailing at WDW, and we had a blast. We spent Saturday and Sunday mainly at the Studios participating the Star Wars Weekend Activities. If you haven't seen it before, man that Hyperspace Hoopla is an awesome and funny show!!! Then it was off to the port on Tuesday. We we just surprised by the fact that although it was HOT (& humid) we didn't get rained on one bit!!! It always rains at Disney in the summer!! haha

Once we finally got on the boat we were just overwhelmed with all there was to see and do. It was a beautiful ship and I'm glad we got to sail, it was our first time since 2008 and I truly enjoyed the experience. I'm also glad I was able to get my ride in on the Aqua Duck and make it up to currents to put some faces with the screen names. Thanks Lissa for the tattoos the kids loved them. We didn't get to participate in the FE this time, but I did think it was neat to see some of your doors and FE's around the upper decks as we explored the ship trying to save the puppies or find the missing paintings!! Disney has really added some great things for everyone to enjoy. Our only bummer for the trip was we had Jet Ski's scheduled for Day 2 at CC, but the highwinds cancelled that. It was a great beach day, but our 9 year old was really looking to that as it would've been his first time. I guess that's just one reason we have to head back!!!

I can't wait to read some of the trip reports, i don't konw how to post pictures, but I definitely took a few (~2 SD cards worth!!). It was a Great time, and nice to meet some fellow Dis'ers, I just hope our little group doesn't fizzle out...

LOVED the FE activities and loved meeting those I was able to - wish I could have been more organized and met at Cabanas (I know it was Currents - I'm trying to be funny - it's a long shot at this point).

Off to switch the laundry and once I pour myself a (bottle) glass of wine, I'll catch up on this thread!

AHAAAHAAHAA, we could have met each other in Cabanas! It didn't occur to me until later in the day that the meet was at Currents, not Cabanas! I made a mental note when I saw Cabanas that I was going to try to pop in around 3:00 for the meet but ended up not being able to. Later that night I had my "DUH" moment that even if I would have gone to meet you guys I would have been at the wrong place. I = Awesome.

Just wanted to check to make sure you received the shirt. I hope it didn't grow legs and walk away. I delivered it the 1st full day on board if I remember right. Hope it arrived safe and sound and that you had a wonderful cruise.

OMG! I just got an email from DH who is reading Dream reviews on DIS over lunch... apparently there are people complaining that the servers didn't cut up their kids' food for them. *** people! Who would even expect that? IMHO that's a parent's job... Some people!
