6/7/11 - It's a double dip DREAM!

Still?! What do they have to say about that?????

To make it more interesting, my parents (who booked the exact same time as us and are linked to our reservations) have their room #, but my sister's family and mine don't. I check everyday!!! :confused3

I hear the bathrooms are spacious on the ship! :rotfl2:

:rotfl: I told my mom yesterday that she was going to have to make room for us in her cabin!

Hi everyone! I need help, please. I need my son and his family to understand why FE-ing is fun! They just can't seem to get their brain around it. I want to include my three granddaughters with Michelle and me, but they're not sure. He is new to reading our thread (TurtleclanScott) and I'm sure you all can make him understand the dimension it adds, both before, during and in the afterglow of a trip.

It's spring here in Texas with beautiful weather. The trip is paid for, FE's done, I'm purchasing cruise clothes and all is well with my world.

I hope the same is true for all of you.

My non-internet savvy family struggles with it too. I described it as a "secret santa" exchange, where everyone brings something to this group of people who have been chatting on-line. essentially I made the FE for my MIL, I will give her a list of cabin numbers, and tell her to deliver something to each one of them on one day during the cruise... and if she's lucky, her FE will be full of goodies too!

I know many of you have already checked in on-line, so hopefully you can answer my question... I have 2 staterooms for our party, the reservations are under two different numbers but are all linked.

I logged in to the first one and got started entering info for my husband and myself. I got just past the passports, and switched to the second res and entered my daughter's info (and sent an email to my mom for her passport info).

I went back to res #1 and "completed" it. Now when I log in to res #2, nothing comes up when I click online check in. No place to enter mom's passport info, no signature form, nothing.

Did I "lock" something by completing one of the reservations? Or is it just a fluke and I should try again tomorrow?

nevermind, the web site must have been having a moment. all is good now.

Howdy
So far we have 25 cabins participating!
Total 81 individuals
So we can do 1 present per cabin
Or
1 per person
Or
1 per cabin plus one per kid
Or
1 per cabin plus some misc candy for the room
Or
Multiple presents per cabin
Or
Multiple presents per person

Correct?

Big Ed
;)

Correct! We're going to do "per cabin" but multiple presents (different days).

I'm doing one "family/cabin" gift which means the mom and/or wife will probably want to keep it and then some little knick knacks and/or candy for the kids, but only one time.

Someone (Joan?) mentioned earlier about going through the spreadsheet and deleting names that we haven't heard from in forever. Do we know for sure that all 25 cabins are indeed still planning on participating or are some of those the names that we haven't heard from?? Just curious. Guess I could go look myself.... ;)

Maybe we can do a final roll call just before the cutoff, that way we are not dropping off gifts to those not participating.

Count us in, party of 8... Tim & Melissa, Val & Trinity, Terry & Kathy, and Chris & Barb. My homemade FE's are made, as are Val's... Tim is working on "educating" his mom Kathy on what's expected of her... and I trust my crafty girl Chris is up to something (now that I emailed her some approx. numbers).

And for what it's worth - my FE gifts are 1 per cabin, Val's are 1 per person... so whatever works for you is okay!
