I was able to get a 6:30 dinner ADR for LeCellier! I was wondering how this will work out with timing for Illuminations. We have only been able to book LeCellier for dinner one other time, and it was our second Epcot day so we had already viewed Illuminations another night. For this trip, we will only have one night to view Illuminations (because we are going to WDW with friends this year) and it will be our LeCellier night. I am hoping that we will be out of the restaurant by 8 and still have time to get a viewing spot for the show. Do you all think so? I guess we can just head straight out and view it from the Canada area. Right?

That should be plenty of time. How big is your party?

Illuminations is not until 9. There are many great places to watch Illuminations from around the WS lagoon (basically, any spot that is not directly blocked by a tree will be fine). Thus, unlike many other parades and firework shows at WDW, it is not necessary to line up to get a spot an hour or more before the show. Good spots can usually be found as little as 15 minutes ahead of time. With that in mind, you will be just fine with a 6:30 dinner reservation.

You'll be fine. We had a party of twelve at LeCellier and we were out of there in an hour and a half.

A couple of things to think about to speed up the process if you want. Print out the menu beforehand and have people decide on their meals before you even get seated. Order your appetizers when you order your drinks (again, pre-planning). Ask for your check as soon as everyone is done ordering. Even if they are still eating. No sense in sitting around and doing nothing while the bill is being processed.

Great! We will get the menu and decide on our order ahead of time.

Thank you!
