I dislike joining Facebook groups because I end up with so many emails. Every time someone posts, I get an email.

You can turn off email notifications in your FB settings. FYI!

Oh that would drive me insane since I am part of 12 different FB groups I have my email notifications turned off. If you click on the earth icon at the top, then click settings beneath, you can click edit in the email notification box and unsubscribe from everything and voila, no more emails. Hope this helps.

Too funny, I use my husband's account, too! I'm not a big FB fan either, but it seems like almost every cruise I've been on lately has moved most of the discussion from the boards to FB.

Since there seems to be a lot of gold/platinum cruisers on our sailing, I figured I would ask here before posting to the wider board. With all available categories currently GTY, what are my chances of - and more importantly, how do I go about - changing stateroom numbers (not categories)?

We are currently split up over 3 cabins (two 11Bs starboard on 6 forward close but not adjoining, one 6A on 6 aft, port). We were really hoping to have the inside cabins connecting and across from the verandah one, or at least relatively close by, but this wasn't possible when I booked as a silver at 8 AM last week.

We did the Baltic in 2010 also, but Iceland pulled us in on this one too. I am also looking into tacking on a trip to Scotland at the end too. We covered London and the Southern part of England in 2010, so I was thinking about renting a car and heading North this time.

We also did the Baltic in 2010 and were looking at the possibility of Hawaii in Sept. 2015 which has not been officially announced yet, however Iceland pulled us in. We have been to Hawaii a few times and as members of DVC we can also fly there and stay at the DVC resort.

I agree and I suggest that you call once a week or every couple of weeks because things change and open up. It is early now and lot can happen. Good luck in getting closer together.

Good advice, thanks. Is it worth asking them to note on our reservations where we would like to be? Is that something they monitor? Our reservations are linked already.

My experience has been that they do not monitor. If you want to change to a TA a good TA will take care of following up on this.

My name's Amanda. My husband is Tom. We have 3 children who will be 11, 9, and 7 at the time of the cruise. We live in the suburbs of NYC
We are big Disney World fans, new-ish DVC members, and I'm a runDisney fanatic. We've only been on one prior Disney Cruise and that was a 5-night Dream double-dip cruise. My husband isn't a huge beach person (he has 2 colors: ghostly white and lobster red) so he didn't love it. We're super excited to go to Northern Europe though.
We have connecting 9C staterooms.
Can't wait to meet everyone!

We are booked on this trip! I'm so excited I want to dance! Or run a few miles! Or something! It will be me, my incredibly sweet and loving husband, my sweet 22-yr old son, and our guest of honor, our 18-yr old daughter, whose graduation we will be celebrating! All paid for since we used DVC points so that's a relief! We are in a GTY 5C room. Looking forward to meeting all of you. I remember some names from the Fantasy Maiden. This will be an incredible trip!
