We have a reservation at 6:20 for WOC seating....when should we arrive/lineup to the show? There is only a 8:15 show that day. Im wondering if we would be rushing dinner! It's an anniversary dinner w 3 little ones!

We had dinner at WCT at 7:30 and got WoC reserved standing for the 10:15 show. We finished dinner at around 9:00, we went back to WCT at 9:45 and the reserved standing line was already long so we didn't get to stand right at the rail when we got to the reserved standing area. I would go back 45 minutes before the show starts.

So for your situation I would recommend going back to WCT at 7:30 (45 minutes before 8:15) which gives you 1 hour and 10 minutes to eat if you are starting dinner at 6:20. That may be cutting it too close, especially if you have little ones, since it would be best if they can stand next to the rail in the reserved standing area.

Do you or anyone think if I already knew what to order....and we left 30 min ahead of time it would be ok?

That might work. Have one of the adults order and finish dinner quickly (I think you can tell them everything you want at once and have it all brought out at the same time), then that person can stand in the line while the other adult takes their time with the little ones.

Good luck!

Thanks! I notice you are from Hawaii....we love it there! Aloha!

I'm wondering if this selection is a good one. I just read not-so-good reviews about WCT. This is suppose to be an anniversary surprise....with Woc. Im also wondering if the time is too late. Need help deciding what to do. Any thoughts anyone. Your help will be most appreciated!

Your reservation is much, much, MUCH too late for an 8:15 show - if you want to make sure you have a good view. You should try for a res 3 hours before the show.

Oh ok thanks! I'm now sad I don't know if it will be available....it was for our anniversary and I also have 3 little ones. I might have to break the news to hubby!

OK, so I told the hubby the situation and I asked him....so what do you prefer nice sit down anniversary dinner with the kiddos (like if we would be uninterrupted with 3 kids under 5!)....or do you prefer to see WOC. He said 'dinner'....so I'm thinking of not doing WOC.

Which leads me to my next question....does WTC offer a different menu than what is stated on the disney website for a 6:20 reservation? I somehow thought that they hike up the prices for that time because of WOC....I could be totally off...but wondering about prices.

And next question....if we are doing just an annivesary dinner is WTC our best bet, food-wise (quality)...and price wise (reasonably priced)?

Thanks!

If WoC is no longer in the mix, I would do Napa Rose in a heartbeat for an anniversary dinner. I'm not sure I would bring kids though. Sorry, I guess that didn't really help :)

You're so cute! You did help...I'm going to look into that....but you are very correct in saying not a good idea to bring kids....but what's a body to do?! So we'll storm the 7Seas or rather 7 Restaurants and take the little ones and see how we do!

And by the way, YES we would love to go to Hawaii...unfortunately we can't visit just yet because of $$$$ and the kiddos....but we do purchase Hawaiian product due to the nature of my husband's business....so in a way we are contributing to the cause! lol :)

WCT has a regular menu. We like it there.

Where are you staying? GCH has a WOC viewing platform that is rarely crowded and there's room for the kids to run around. Bathrooms too. The view isn't quite the same but still enjoyable. I'm thinking for a different night than your dinner.

We will be staying at DLH....That's sounds really nice...maybe stroll down there after dinner....where is it located?
