Wow!! Things have been busy here as well. With the snow (I mean ICE storm) that came through the Dallas area, it kept us indoors. I am looking forward to returning to work tomorrow. Gotta get out of the house. It did give me the time I needed to rest. At first, I was not feeling it, but then I realized that last week, was not a good week for me physically. But I am feeling so much better now.

Yes, we will definitely be doing some decorating. I have the "badges" so far.

I figure that I will be back full force planning March 4. That is the day I can start making my reservations. So in the meantime, I will just and see.

I am still planning, and have decided to go to Universal Studios during our stay. It will be our first time there.

Yes, we got hit hard. We even got hit again this last week and was out AGAIN on Wednesday. Hopefully that winter weather is on vacation until next Winter .

Yes, I have book some books for my NookColor about Universal and it looks like it will be just what we are looking for. The only problem is our 2 year old will have limited things to do, but that is ok, we will just parent swap. So that helps. We are leaning more toward Island of Adventure because of the Harry Potter thing. My dd (8) has just started reading the books, so just being able to see it works for us.

It seems like 3/4 is so far away. I am ready to start planning online

Joining the thread! Me, DH, DD (5) and Grandma on this cruise. Our first with DCL. We are DVC'ers from SoCal. Just learning about the FE. We're deck 11. Get to book excursions tomorrow! Woo-hoo!

Stupid reservation system froze me out when trying to make reservations. I e-mailed the concierge, but no answer yet. Frustrating!!!

When we took our first cruise, our daughter's became penpals with someone else in the meets group before the trip. They PM eachother back and forth up to our sailing and once on board it was almost like friends meeting up to go on vacation together. My girls will be 10 (Erika) and 12 (Grace). If anyone else has kids that would like to become penpals please have them PM and I will have my girls write back.
