Cool!! I did too.

I saw were Beth said that they did the DD at CC and said it wasn't that fun and things where closed on ship?
Has anyone else ever done the CC and liked it? I was thinking it would be pretty fun but do you who have done it, think it would not be as fun as somewhere else?

Hope everyone is feeling better...

Now it is our turn ~ Any information on gallbladder??

Jayde went to the dr today complaining of rt side abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness/light headedness & they think it may be her gallbladder. Blood work, taking zantac & going for ultrasound to confirm. Glad we caught it now.

Oh, so sorry to here about this. I have known some people to have there gallbladder removed and had a pretty good recovery time of just a few days to a week to really feeling better but maybe no major activity for about 6 weeks. Hugs :grouphug:

Well, I had to have mine taken out and they did it laproscopically and the recovery time for three or four days.

What? CC not fun? I think it is pure paradise. LOL.

I didn't mean it wasn't fun--but my parnets and Brandon are not big on the beach and since the CM are on CC there was not much to do onboard-so for them 2 days was too much. I am happy to sit in the sun-anywhere, anytime, but would like something different instead

I had my gall bladder removed about 8 months after Jordan was born- it was lathriscopy(sp?) surgery on Thursday- on Saturday I was doing the electric slide at a wedding!! It was not bad at all. I had alot of gallstones and pain- but no issues since then. Let us know- it was pretty bad before it was diagnosed- and they kept thinking it was acid reflux.

We did Double Dip a few years ago and it was awesome!!!! I still have not done everything there is to do on CC!!! Last time was the first visit that we actually sat at the beach..... You can ride bikes and go on boat ride or snorkel or jetski etc.......

Had my gallbladder out in 1994. They make 3 small 1/2" incisions and do it laparascopically. It can be done outpatient and go home or stay 1 night. The pain afterwards was not bad at all. I felt much better after 3 days and like myself in less than a week. I hope they can take care of it ASAP! Sending her lots and lots of prayers!

Thanks to all... Jayde definitely has all the symptoms for gallbladder infection so just needs an ultrasound to see how severe. It is not common in teenagers; I am sure her diet may have something to do with it. She is the chip 'n dip queen!!
Rees had his out at age 5! It isn't very common in kids, but it can happen. He was in the hospital for 3 days, but he was so sick by the time they found it that his liver was starting to fail from the blockage. Rees had his done laparscopically too, and you can't even see his incisions (now all the other major surgeries you can see- well, you'll see them 1st hand on the ship! ;))

My dad had his removed just a few months ago..........He lost too much weight too fast after my mom died so they said

Good Morning!!!!:upsidedow

Wah. I tried to vote on the poll but it said I couldn't (wonder why... I have plenty of posts.)

I would LOVE to go to an Eastern port but it's not possible I should think, given the distance from GC. If you look at the Eastern itinearies they take 2 days to get down to St. Thomas/Tortola and than a full day to travel back to CC so there isn't enough time to make up that distance.

I don't think DCL has ever stopped at Roatan or Belize, so that realistically leaves CC, a day at sea, Nassau, Freeport (which they used to do) or Key West (please no! I live in FL already!)
