Thanks so much for this suggestion! I just called and it looks like my airfare may be reimbursed under my insurance, I don't know why I never thought about the insurance covering this, I was just thinking about the cruise itself. Well if I do decide to cancel that will make it a little easier :thumbsup2
Yea!!! :cool1: Only reason I thought of it is we had to cancel a 3 day cruise earlier and had airfare booked. Used the Trip Insurance to get a refund. Make sure to tell them you are completely cancelling the ressies, and not just changing them for a credit. You will get all of it back that way, not just the $100 per ticket fee. You might not fly American next time, etc, and the cash back is a better financial move.

That's good!! At least you'll get your money back for that!!

Hope everything turns out for the best!!

I have late seating & requested a large table (hoping to meet others & possibly someone for DD to hang with).

I am glad that you are at least able to get your money back. In January we were reviewing the major programs in our facility and it looked like several big ones that I am heavily involved in were going to hit in early summer. I talked to my boss and she said to "go on vacation someone will cover for you like you covered for the two guys on vacation last year at critical times on their programs." I felt much better and am really happy that I have really good dierct boss and big boss. On another note we are going to book excursions on Saturday  . I think we are going to do the Nautilus semi submersible on Grand Cayman and DD wants to swim with the dolphins at Cozumel. Does anyone have any comments on doing the program with Dolphin Discovery or Dolphinaris. Dolphin Discovery appears to be a much longer ride but the benefit is the park after, Dolphinaris is only a 5 minute cab ride and no after program offering. DW and I want to go as observers which is available for either. Any thoughts on the way to go?

this is from DolphinDiscovery.com ~ NOT included: "Transportation for companions. Transportation service applies only for swim-with-dolphins participants. Companions will have to pay the public rate for each park and their own transportation service."

I was looking into going as a companion (if booked thru Disney observers are $49) but my DD stated she wants us to do things together.

I know we are getting close to the date for booking excursions, and we still can't make up our minds! The more I read, the more things I find out and want to do! I think I'll just make Palo brunch and spa ressies on the 15th, and book the excursions on my own. I found a Stingray City and snorkel in Grand Cayman through this site: www.captainmarvins.com The reviews were good and it looks like fun! We still haven't decided what to do in Cozumel. Maybe just get a taxi and go to one of the beaches or Chakanaab park and swim and snorkel there. Admission to the park is $16, and there's a $2 off coupon on their site: www.cozumelparks.com Anyone else having trouble choosing???:rotfl: I just got my Passporters Disney Cruise line book today from Amazon and can't wait to read through it! That's a very informative book if you don't already have it. The 2009 edition was not available yet so I got the 2008.

So does that mean transportation for the participants is free- I'm going to have to look into that.:thumbsup2

I was having trouble choosing as well, but I've got it down now. I'm ready to book on Saturday night.:thumbsup2

Oh, OK- we are doing the Dolphin Encounter- so not eligible. Oh well.:sad2:

Just announced at the Stockholder's Meeting that the new ships will be called Disney Dream (2011) and Disney Fantasy (2012).

Just thought I would let you all know.

Hey,

Whats the total of Cat 12's so far.;)

Does anyone know best rates for car rentals around the time we are going. I am checking for around the time we are at WDW before and after and I am not seeing any good deals? Or is it to early to get them?

I am so nervous that all our excursions will be booked by 75 days. The kids will be so upset if they don't get on the Pirate Ship. So, can all y'all who book at 90 days keep me posted on availability? Also want to book the Children's Dolphin at Dolphinaris and 2 observers (I think) or 4 Dolphin Encounter at Chan and 1 observer.

I think you'll be fine at 75 days, alot of people(non dis-ser's) don't even book until they board the ship. :confused3 Are you going to try to do the 9:15 Pirate excursion- that's which one we're doing.:goodvibes

Yes, we want the one with y'all. Keep me posted! I am so nervous over choosing. Cozumel still has me very confused. Want dolphins, but like Dolphinaris because closed pool, but Chank cause of park... DS has mild Cerebral Palsy and I know the enclosed pool would be much easier for him to keep his balance vs waves. :confused3
