OK- I have decided to take on the FE exchange- it's my first time- so take it easy on me. LOL Anyway, anyone who wants to join the FE exchange, please PM me, and we are going to add everything to the first page. Just let us know your name, sex/ages of kids, room number if you have it yet. Let me know if I'm missing anything.

Hey, Nikki! Thanks for volunteering to get it all together. Just a thought....I would prefer not to have my kids names and room number posted where just anyone could see it. There may be others that feel the same way... Could we maybe just get the list together and then PM everyone with the info? Does anyone have any suggestions/comments about this????

That's fine- I didn't think about that . I'll just get the list together and then PM everyone. We are going to put a "yes" next to the names on the first page of the people doing the FE exchange- so people can get an idea of how many people to get gifts for.

When we did ours we just PM'd our info to the person in charge and they just kept the list, instead of emailing it to everyone she just printed out a copy for each "group" (since we have 2 cabins we only needed one copy) and she handed them out at the meet that we had when we got on the ship, everyone pretty much showed up but the ones that didn't she put them under the door.

That sounds good. Maybe we can at least add # of adults and # children without doing names. Also, number of cabins participating for each diser if more than one. (Hopefully this make sense).

Nikki - Over the weekend I will start adding the info to page 1.

If everyone will take a look for thier id on page 1 and let Nikki or I know if I have something wrong or missing info.

Sounds good everyone, I will PM everyone with the finished product. Do we need some kind of time cut-off to get all of the names- maybe a month before the cruise. I don't know, never having done it.

We did a gift exchange on my last cruise (only the adults). For gift ideas, everyone brought something that represented where they are from. Example: I live in Michigan & we have lighthouses, so I gave a lighthouse ornament.

Looks like we'll be sailing June 13th! We're 2nd time cruisers. We did the Eastern Carribean in March 2005.
Cruising party consists of:
DH (Ben)
DW (Taina)
DD- almost 14 (Kaitlyn)
DS- 12 (Ben)
From SE Texas (near Houston)

DD wants to go to the stack. She'll be going into high school but I'm not so sure after reading some of the threads about the stack. Hope to find a close aged friend before the cruise.
DS will be going to Ocean Quest. He's very outgoing.

Looking forward to getting to know fellow cruisers!

Welcome!! We did the Eastern Carribean for our first Disney cruise in Sept '07- we loved it and can't wait to try the western!!

Well, I'm not a native Texan so I don't know where or what the Golden Triangle is. Sounds like Heaven though! I'm near Katy, TX. I'm a native Baltimorean who only came to Houston to attend graduate school and vowed I would never stay!
Well, met DH and told him the same. We did leave for 8 years compliments of the miliitary It was a good compromise since we were both in the reserves at the time.
We've been back in Texas since 1999 for good until he retires from his practice (he did finish out his 20 years in the service this past September) - then maybe we'll move to Florida and get jobs as CM's!)
Please add us to the list! DD wants to do the FE and she's my crafty one so I'm delegating the design and gifts to her!

Actually the Katy area is much nicer then the Golden Triangle. My inlaws lived in Katy for 2 1/2 years. "Golden Triangle" is the Beaumont, Port Arthur & Orange area.

Hey everybody I am trying to catch back up on posts..... Life always feel so crazy with work and the three kiddos!!!!! Trust me though I think about this trip EVERYDAY!!! and it keeps me going!

I am finally starting to see prices go down for air! Yes!! But still want to make the dates work our better for the air, some dates are better then others.
Ideally we would like to come in a few days ahead and do WDW, then cruise and fly out that Sat, but the rates for the 20th are still high and hoping it goes down.

What is everyone elses plan? I mean are any of you staying a few days before or after for WDW ,etc.?
