Hello Cruisemates!!!

My name is April and I will be joining this cruise along with
DH Rob (actually with or without depends if he can get off work)
DS Layne 14 as of tomorrow
DS Lance will be 5
DD Layla will be 2
My Sister and her Husband

I am so excited about this trip as I always am about Disney....
I have been part of the DIS GEEKs and the Nana heads and it was great getting to chat before going .... We just got back on Dec 6th off the MAGIC

To answer ? of the week
This is 4th Disney Cruise on the MAGIC and hopefully this time we will make it to Grand Cayman. We have always sailed around Christmas time for the decorations however this time we could not give up the great price and my oldest has 8th grade graduation and my middle child is graduating preschool so it is a big summer for us!

but shhh it is a secret so far from the kids!!!

I understand how that goes... I was very nervous about Christmas because I lost my mom about 4 months ago and it was very strange at Christmas and our family tried a new tradition of having Christmas at my sister's instead of at our parents house because I don't think any of us were ready to face Christmas without Mom in the same routine........

Welcome, ruley3! So very sorry about your mother. I lost my husband 3 yrs ago on Dec. 27 so the holidays are always hard. But, starting new traditions helps a bunch! It will get easier....

nikkistevej--I hope you guys get to go out as planned...I've always wanted to try that steakhouse! You'll have to let us know how you liked it.

OOOOOO I am a bit envious of all the party people tonight but that is ok... I am at home with the two little ones alone (since Monday) DH and oldest DS have been on a hunting trip....... I do think I will let the monkeys stay up late tonight so that I can sleep in tomorrow!

This will be our 3rd Disney cruise, May 06 and Jan 08. We were actually booked for Jan 09 but when the military rates came out for summer we moved it. I am so excited!!

OMG we are from the same place!!!!! We will have to get together for lunch... My office is in Hillsborough and I live in Mebane

We are flying in the evening before. We are going to take DS to T-Rex that night. I did not add any other days because we did such a big trip this past year. I am already getting in trouble because this will be the first summer in 5 years that we are not doing the parks.

We will probably play Wii Sports. I really like the bowling.

My DS loves Soul Clibur Legends & Star Wars: Clone Wars.

We end up going out for dinner and my DS is watching the newest Star Wars. As soon as it it over, we will start playing.

I am not 100% sure what I am doing. I am having surgery in a couple of weeks and depending how long I am off of work for that will determine how much vacation time I will have this summer. I have back to back cruises booked right now (also booked June 6th Eastern) but I don't know if I want to do that or do WDW the week after the cruise for my son's birthday. I was thinking about driving this time but I will probably go on and fly.

Well we took all of our Christmas decorations down yesterday and put them away. Our DS goes back to school on Monday. Looking forward to get back to a normal schedule. Tomorrow, my DH and DS will be working on DS's Pinewood Derby car for Cub Scouts. So we should have a pretty quiet weekend.

Doing good...getting house cleaned and stuff today. We are heading to Ft.Worth tomorrow to stay with my brother and possibly go to Medieval Times and then I have my pre-op appt in Dallas Monday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
