Great job... I know it is hard to keep it up but we can do it. I am hoping to walk the deck on the ship. I think they say it is a 1/4 mile.

Bosu ball.... UGH! I haven't had time to do a routine on it yet but will let you know how it goes.
I am trying REALLY hard!

I will walk :cool1: the deck with you!

I talked to my TA today (whom some of you are also using) and learned the following:

the May 30th Magic got their assignments on Tuesday so we are two sailing after that... hopefully we'll get ours in 2 weeks.

For these folks she saw assignments of the Cat 12 guarantees in Cat 12, 11, 10 and "a few 9's" (quote.)

Yes, there was a FL resident rate that opened on this sailing last week, but only for 2 days, then it was shut down again, so even more guarantee cabins were sold in various categories (as well as a number of assignments in higher categories). This makes the pool of folks in GTY status even larger and there are gty's in higher cats, too.

I am still hoping for pixie dust, but if someone paid for a Cat 11 or Cat 9 GTY I would think that they would be the first to get bumped up higher than a 9. That only seems fair.

In any case, seems like we should know in two weeks time. Yippee!!!!

Sounds great!! I was actually thinking up trying to upgrade at the port- if possible. I know it's kind of hit or miss with that, though!!:rolleyes1

Thats cool! I am still ck'ing every day 'just incase' they do it earlier! :)

Question: I was just re-reading the cruise kit they sent out awhile ago. I read that if you have a pre-cruise hotel with Disney that you can ck in at the hotel. It said that if staying at dolphin/swan, would have to ck with the DCL desk once arriving. Does anyone know if you can ck in at the d & s for the cruise? That would make things easier.
Also, I read that if you stay at a disney hotel (doesn't include d&s) it will include tickets to get into the park. Can anyone one tell me where you could stay to take advantage of this & be able to be picked up by the DCL bus on Saturday. I kind of remember when we did the land/sea & stayed at Port Orleans, we ck'd in for the cruise at the hotel, but we went over to the animal kingdom for the morning & picked up the DCL bus there.

Sorry, pretty windy!:rotfl: TIA!

Yikes! time is starting to tick. I've got to get moving on fish extender stuff and figuring out clothes.

My problem is this woman at work got me reading these books... I call them my own personal "crack" books. I'm completely and utterly addicted. It's the Twilight series. My daughter has had them for a while and kept saying how good they were so I finally caved, when another adult said I had to read them... now I need a 12 step program. I hear "Mom! we need dinner , STEP AWAY FROM THE BOOK". I've never been so engrossed by a novel.... I'm such a sucker for a good romance :rolleyes1

Too funny! My Megan is into Twilight too!! Another thing they have in common besides their name and birth month! She has been trying to get me to read them too! I still never made it through the 5th Harry Potter book but I LOVE those books...I know I would like Twilight too - I just never take out time to read!!! :goodvibes

I'm warning you now, you will become addicted. My Megan was reading them when my work friend said she was reading this series twilight, I laughed at her and said congratulations your now a 14 year old girl.... But she said try it and I was immediately sucked in, I never read a book so fast. I had to eat a lot of crow for laughing at my friend...

Give them a try you will not be sorry... (ohhh now I feel like a drug pusher:scared1:)

That's what I am hoping to do as well. I have been haev nightmares about not making it to the port in time. We'll see. I was at least hoping Florida Resident rates would open for this cruise. :upsidedow

They did, last week, but DCL closed them in less than 2 days!

This is from the DCL website: ** If you are taking a "Land & Sea" vacation booked through Disney Cruise Line and beginning with a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort or the Walt Disney World Dolphin or Swan Hotels, you will check-in for your cruise at your Resort hotel. If you miss the deadline to complete your forms online, or fail to bring your signed forms with you, you will be able to complete standard documents at the hotel.

That would save A LOT of time seeing as we are not getting picked up until around 11ish from the Swan. :cloud9:

Home from the surgery center. Doc said it was successful. Just sore, but my back looks like someone took a bat to it. I have pain pills, and I took one when we got home.

:grouphug: Glad to hear things went well. Hopefully, you will be able to rest & relax a little this weekend. :grouphug:

Hope you'll be feeling okay!!

I always get up early and walk the deck before it gets too hot. I also only use the stairs too when we cruise.

Ok so the website is up and running!

www.westernmagic61309.info

I went with a .info vs a .com basically due to price. I figured since we only needed it for a few months I would save a few $'s and do it that way.

I hope everyone likes it. If you find mistakes please let me know.

I chose not to do a pirate theme bc I do so much pirate stuff on the other one. I hope everyone is ok with that.

Update on Maddy. I spent the day down at the Naval Hospital again today. We started the day with finding out that Madison has significant hearing loss in both ears. She will most likely require surgery before our trip! :-(

We then moved down to pulmonology where she has been diagnosed with full blown asthma. Just one thing to add to the list. I felt so bad bc her O2 stats were at 92% when we got there. I did not realize she was struggling that hard to breathe! :scared1:
