5th WDW Park Ideas!

I'm holding out for the mine train ride, and rethemed Barnstormer. Besides that, I'm hoping it lowers the crowds for everything else.:rotfl2:

New Roller Coaster=Awesome

I went on SWSA and some of the characters weren't even Animatronics. Waste of space.

I want to go on it before it closes, just to say I rode it. Not gonna wait an hour for it or anything, but I'll wait maybe 20 min. tops. I'm sure people will worship it once it's gone (see Alien Encounter and 20,000 Leagues lol)

It was already 7pm and the was NO ONE in line. And you come up to snow white and you hear her singing but she doesn't even move.

fail. Then again, it was an opening day attraction, so you can't expect it to be that techy (although it could have been refurbd) and I wish they'd replace it with something better than a M&G.

While simplistic, the ride was an opening day attraction and probably will be missed by many WDW veterans. Not to mention it's being replaced by a Princess meet and greet.

Yeah, I've pretty much driven this thread way off-topic, so I'll go back into hiding...

actually you probably have one of the largest contributions to the thread (see above diagram) so you're excused...

You'd think they could at least go back in put in AAs. You're right, once it's gone everyones going to go all crazy for it. I'm going to tell people I rode it like 10 times (we ride it every trip for some reason.) and the'll be like  NO WAY!

I've never ridden it, because when my family goes, it's like lightining war, 5.5 days of madness:lmao: and we've never fit it into our itinerary...

We always seem to do everything. EXCEPT STITCH! I'm never going on that ride.

I LOVE THAT RIDE!!! ok, I like it, and me and my dad do it once a year (bonding moment lol) Basically, my dad likes it because it did AE back in the day, and it scarred him, so he likes this better, also me and my dad laugh at the chili dog part...

I'm never going on that ride so I can always say there is a ride I havent been on. Besides I have no desire to go on it anyway. And back on topic, they should really redo tomorrowland. It's becoming Todayland.

I like it the way it is but I see your point....and actually, most of the rides have nothing to do with the future (buzz, monsters inc.) but I would hate to see them go. And if the speedway goes, my dad and brother will flip, and I'll probably :sad1:

anyway I gotta log off now, but I'll pop in tomorrow to see how this thread's goin (nothing else to do since Jack Sparrow got killed)

Yeah I'll probably log off too. And i'll be back tomorrow.

Basically, I figured out the could do a park called Celebrate America! (Ik a pp talked about America Gardens, but never elaborated) Basically, you enter through a Colonial Main Street, up to the central icon that represents America (ex. an eagle, statue of liberty, mount rushmore, something like that.) The park is divded into five sections: northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, midwest/great plains. They're located like the would be on the map (so se would be where tommorowland is in mk, ne where toontown used to be, midwest where fantasyland is, etc.) here's my rough ideas for each land:

Colonial Main Street: shops and a dark ride going through the history of America (basically an American Adventure GMR, or something like it)

Northeast: basically, have a Coney Island style boardwalk, with games, wooden roller coaster, ferris wheel. then you could have a ny crazy taxi simulator, or something like that. Could also have a revolutionary war display if you wanted to.

Southeast: since WDW is in Florida, you could have a California Adventure-like section, celebrating Florida, but include other sothern states here too. You could have a Song of the South resturant (saw this posted by another DiSer so I give them credit for the idea, whoever you are.) maybe a coaster based off something, but def. needs an e-ticket.

Midwest: not really sure what to put here, need help with this one. (not trying to diss the midwest or anything)

Northwest: have an Oregon Trail rapids ride, (something like Grizzly River Run), maybe add a "mountain ride" like EE with a backstory around a sacred native american mountain

Southwest: If you include Cali in this, you could move Soarin' here since it is Soarin' over California. Maybe take a few ideas from DCA (never been there, so not sure what Cali-themed rides they have there) maybe have a ride based off Roswell aliens or something, but might get in trouble with the governemt because of that. :rotfl:

So yeah, this is basically my idea, if you have any suggestions, I'm open to them.

you could have like some cowboy/western type rides or shows for texas in the southwest.(we're kinda known for that.)

You could copy the western river expedition from (would have been) MK. You could put it in the alamo or something.

I like the whole concept for that. I also realized you'd have to split Texas and California in half (Cali. in south/northwest, texas south east/west.)

And you should add a land for Alaska and hawii.

yeah...I kind of realized that too...you could probably get away with sticking Alaska in northwest :rolleyes1 but Hawaii is a different animal...

where to put it, idk, but in the hawaii area you could have some lilo and stitch themed rides.
