My dd10 loves gapkids, and she also likes Limited Too and Abercrombie. The latter two are pretty expensive, so we're not likely to shop there often. Gapkids seems to have sizes to fit my skinny minnie!

My dd is in 7th and she (thankfully) considers Old Navy "upscale"! ;) Just keep in mind the amount that you are going to give, just a t-shirt is pretty pricey at some of those stores, you don't want her to have to spend extra money to get something.

I'm voting outside the box for OLD NAVY also.

My dd knows it's far better to come out of old navy with a bunch of outfits by spending the same amount of money she'd spend on one abercrombie sweatshirt.

Where is the "other" option on the poll. My 6th grade girl gets most of her clothes from Target, occasionally Kohl's and a few items now and then from Wal-Mart. We don't shop at any of the places on your list - all too expensive. We see no point in spending that kind of money on stuff she'll outgrow in a few months.

What about Aeropostle? That seems to be pretty popular here and sometimes they have 50% off everything in the store especially after Xmas.

If DD (5th grade) is doing the shopping she'd pick Justice. But I agree with the other posters who shop at Old Navy, Khols and Target !:thumbsup2

In 5th grade, it was Limited 2. By the time my DD hit 6th grade, it was Hollister and Aeropostle. She's also a big fan of Claires for accessories.

I agree with Claires, my DD would love that! I hate to spend money there, but she just loves it!

My DD10 loves Limited Too, but since it's so expensive she doesn't get much there. Add us to the list of Old Navy fans. She can get two or three times as much as Limited Too for the same money! She also loves gift cards for Claire's.

My DD (10) is in the 5th Grade and she loves Justice.

And I agree that a Claire's gift card would be good. I might get one for DD for Christmas because she wants to get a second piercing for each ear(lobe). (And then that's it - no more piercings!)

I have a 4th and 5th grader. They would choose Justice hands down. I would shop at Target or Kohl's, but if it's a gift, they love Justice.

I agree with some PPs: Aeropostale for clothes; Claires for accessories. Aeropostale has great sales (just bought a $3 t-shirt there on clearance, and hoodies are on sale for $15). My DD is now "growing out" of Aeropostale and wants Hollister, Abercrombie and American Eagle, but sales and discounts are few and far between there and Aeropostale generally has the same styles without the higher prices. Claire's is "disposable" stuff, but tweens and younger teens love it.

My DD is in 6th grade and her favorites are Aeropostale, Abercrombie, Hollister and American Eagle. The past few years Limited Too was her favorite but now she considers their clothes a bit too babyish for her. :confused3 She does like their jewelry and accessories better than Claire's though.

Oddly enough, she thinks the Hollister and Abercrombie stores are too loud (the music) and too dark, so if it's her choice, she prefers Aeropostale.

Her favorite place for sneakers is either PacSun or Zumiez.

I guess my girls' are pretty budged minded too. We shop at Old Navy, The Children's Place, the Disney Store, Target, Kohl's and Mervyn's. Mostly at Target. I'm glad, I really can't afford those other places at all.

Oh and yes, my girls (7 & 11) do love Claire's for accessories!!

Well, I've never even heard of Justice or Hollister and don't do the other stores either, so didn't vote.

I hate Limited Too; don't like the quality or the expense. DD12, now in 7th likes Wet Seal and Aeropastale. I like Aeorpastale for their sales though, never pay full $$ amount. Grandmother takes her to Kohl's.

She also loves Claire's and Bath and Body.

My oldest is 12 and in 7th grade, she cannot shop at Limited
Too/ Justice, sizes run too small. Her favorite store is American Eagle, she does like Aeropostale also. Doesn't like Hollister or Abercrombie (everything is too tight fitting at those stores, and if you have any belly, they don't look good. American Eagle isn't bad, if you get the stuff on sale, and you can sign up for their access pass, which will give you future discounts.
