5th Anniversary Show is up!

Hi great 5 year show... Mr. Werner announced that he was releasing the first podcast he produced (Morning Talk Radio Style Show) but I can not find a link to it. He played a bit of it but specifically stated he would release it. Does anyone know where this can be found? Thanks...Luv the show, luv this site...

Great show!!! Looking forward to 5 more years!!!
Oh and btw..I'm shocked click click woo...did not get mentioned as a fav moment!

I finished listening to the 5 year anniversary show this afternoon and I wanted to post my thank you to the podcast crew for 5 wonderful years! I am a long time listener and this may sound silly because I've never met any of you, but you have become dear friends via a little thing called a podcast. You've traveled in planes, cars, ran many half marathon training runs with me, and even ran a half marathon with me.

Cheers from my water to yours. Cheers again to the coming five years of podcasts, rants, reviews, genius revelations, what the craps, and so much more! :disrocks::bday:

I want to each this.. didn't see it on the show notes page or in the archives. Anyone know? :confused3:confused3

A great, tear-inducing (from laughter, and other things) show, everyone.

Thank all of you for taking up residence in my car, and my iPod, Laptop and Desktop... But most of all, in my head.

My only regret is the "can of Easy Off" moment didn't come up. I really SHOULD have "sent that one in". :headache:

Pete: Be sure to bring a can of Easy Off
*laughter*

Julie: I think you mean regular OFF... Not the oven cleaner

Corey: *I'LL" clean your oven, baby - 'cause you're gonna get dirty !"

Pete: Oh my Lord !

"SafetyMom": And really.... WHAT could be more romantic ?

:rotfl2:

I may *never* get over that one....

I still think that the e mail show from 08.28.10 has the funniest moment 55 minutes into the show.

Answering an email about TSA rules allowing a cupcake pass security (John: "Wait don't they have cupcakes where she is from?")

leading to cupcake truck talk (Kevin to Pete: "Don't sit there judging me. You know you would be out there with me.")

leading to ice cream truck talk (Kathy: "His horn or whatever moos, like a cow.") and ultimately to the funniest line (John: "Have a rocket bar you fat cow.")

One minute an 50 seconds of hysterical banter (from every member of the podcast), followed by two minutes of solid laughter (mostly from Pete).

When I first heard it, I continued to laugh (tears running-down-my-face-laughing) for hours after the show. :rotfl2:

I still play it from time to time when I need a pick-me-up.

Better than cappuccino.

I just wanted to pop in and say that I loved this show...it now ranks as one of my favorites...I started to listen in 2007, but have gone back and listened to every show...some multiple times....this one will get a second listen today...

Happy Birthday DisUnplugged (round table format) !!!! Here's wishing you another sucessful 5 years !!!!

I think of that line everyday when the ice cream horn moos. :)

Oh my, the mooing ice cream truck is still out there? Too funny.:lmao:

What made that segment great was all the members building and contributing to a hysterical crescendo.

Kathy you and, come to think of it, Teresa are natural straight-men. Without you, and Teresa many of the funniest moments would never occur. John needs to thank you both for tossing meatballs down the plate.

Love you guys. Happy 5 and looking forward to your tenth.:cool1:

I feel like I'm late to the party, although I looked up and saw that I started listening about this time last year . . . thank you for the hours of entertainment and "WDW fix" that I need to keep my attitude high.

I'm such a slug . . . I have recorded and mixed an imitation of Pete during a show opening. But I've been (strangely) on the shy side about that. Are you still taking intro submissions? Ah, heck. I might just send it along anyway, just for fun.

I am a fan of many podcasts, but yours sets a high standard for camaraderie and honesty. That's what sets podcasts apart . . .

Congratulations! This was your best 5th anniversary show yet. I can't wait for the next one!

Honestly I love the podcast. I have been a lurker on the boards for years and just found the podcasts a few months ago. I listen to the new one each week and try to tackle the older ones as quick as possible. I along with many others appreciate the hard work each and every one of you puts in to these. Keep up the great work!

I get to listen today!! Heading up to see Mom and Dad and it's about an hour each way-the podcast team keeps me company every week.

For most of the 5 years-the podcast team has been my stress reliever, my pixie dust refresher when living 1000 miles from my happy place, and the source of some unforgettable moments of laughter and tears. Someone earlier said that they considered the team to be their friends and I believe that a lot of us do-even though we've never met you guys at all-or only had limited brushes with greatness at DIS events. I don't think it can be overstated how much this little podcast has changed the lives of others. Sure, we've all gained some practical knowledge-but that can be gathered in a lot of places. I think most of us tune in now for all the stuff that happens in-between the delivery of information.

Thank you to the entire team for everything you bring to that studio!

I listen at work and right now I'm listening to the impression of Kevin doing the McDonald's review...totally hilarious! People are probably wondering why I'm giggling.

Thank you Podcast Team for all the great moments I've enjoyed since starting to listen about a year ago. I look forward every week to the new show! Congrats on 5 great years! :thumbsup2

What show was this on, I must have missed it?

John

Just got to listen to this. Great show and look forward to the next 5 years and beyond. And thank you for reading my letter, didn't expect that since it was the first time I sent anything in.

Best wishes.

I had to replay the McDonald's review for my family! A classic! Perfect!!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

We finally finished listening tonight while preparing our dinner tonight - the dining review was hysterical! All those little catch phrases that Kevin uses were in there :rotfl2: It almost made me want to go to McDonalds. :rotfl:

I've been listening to the show since the beginning and there are so many memorable moments that I couldn't pick just one. I often listen biking to/from work and there have been many days I've been biking home with tears of laughter running down my face... there goes that crazy lady laughing to herself on the bike...

On the opposite side, I remember vividly walking back to my hotel room, when I was working out of town, listening to the show where they announced that Bob had died. I felt the pain of the team loosing a beloved friend and I also felt I had lost someone dear to me. :sad2:

But I think the thing I am most grateful for is the friends that I have made through listening to the podcast. I may be a lone Disney fan at the bottom of the south pacific but I'm surrounded by my Dis friends

Agreed. Listened to this weeks after it was posted. I thought the review was so funny, although Kevin didn't seem too pleased. The impressionists didn't sound like Kevin, but he had the shtick down pat.

I thought it was hilarious and have been in touch with Todd to tell him so.

It's unnerving to hear someone else use your speech pattern.

It makes you conscious of the the little idiosyncratic things you do and say when talking.

But please understand that I was flattered.

I'm really pleased that you responded Kevin. I suspect that I would have had the same self-conscious reaction as you did if I were in your shoes, particularly if I was put on the spot in a live show. I was bummed when I heard your on-air reaction, so I am glad that you did enjoy it as much as your listeners did.

Your reviews are my favorite part of the show, and not necessarily for the entertainment aspect. I think you and I are on the same wavelength when it comes to dining value, so I get a lot of "value" from your reviews.
