My wife and I will be going the end of April and it will be our 5th Anniversary while we are there. I have a couple questions so that I can try and make the best decision for our 5th Anniversary Dinner.

1) Would you choose HS or Epcot for your park for the 5th Anniversary? We do not have park hoppers so that is not an option. We both love Star Wars and neither of us have been since it opened but we are both big fans of the World Showcase. We will be there during the flower and garden festival and that is something my wife has always wanted to see. It would be a Friday and based on crowd calendars it looks like HS is the better park, but not significantly. Which park would you choose for a 5th Anniversary dinner and celebration?

2) What restaurant would you choose to make a reservation in based on the park you suggested? We eat just about anything and can find something at about any restaurant at Disney. Budget not an issue either. Just let me know what you consider the best restaurant for a 5th Anniversary dinner?

Thanks in advance!!

I think since you both enjoy the World Showcase, I would do that, I think it would be a fun day! Are you looking to have dinner in the park, or back at a hotel? If you are choosing a park, I think Epcot has better choices for something romantic. You could also exit out of the international gateway and head to one of the hotel restaurants over there possibly?

Happy Anniversary friends! It looks like you are looking to do either of those parks and have dinner at that specific park.

I love Festivals where you can walk around, enjoy small bites, and take in all the beautiful scenarios especially during Flower and Garden. You can have a nice dinner at Le Cellier, Chef France, San Angel in Epcot.

If you do HS, Hollywood Brown Derby is a fine signature restaurant and you can always head over to Baseline Tap House for dinner.

You do have more options if you want to walk out to Boardwalk area from international gateway and go to Il Mulino or Shula’s at Swan and Dolphin or even Ale and Compass at Yacht Club.

I do love Topolino’s Terrace at Riviera for fine dining up at roof top and you can get there with Skyliner.

Enjoy it!

Topolino's Terrace would be an ideal location for dinner. It's a gorgeous, super romantic restaurant with amazing food, and it's very near both of those parks. That said, since it's a Signature restaurant, it does have a dress code; park attire is discouraged.

I should note that none of the restaurants I would normally recommend for an anniversary dinner at EPCOT are currently open, nor have they had reopening dates announced. The Brown Derby would be good if you want to eat at Hollywood Studios.

I would probably say a restaurant outside the park would be better, unless you want to be in the park. Le Cellier would be a good option for in park. Outside the parks, would recommend California Grill or Topolino' Terrace. Don't know if there will be any other restaurants opening before your visit, but suspect nothing between now an then.

Thanks for the recommendations. Sad part is that I never really even thought about going outside the park. I was just focused on looking in the parks for recommendations. The Topolino Terrace definitely sounds nice. How late is Epcot staying open these days? The hours at the beginning of April indicate 7pm close. Is that about right or is it likely to extend later?

Many of the restaurants that we enjoy are currently closed.
Topolino Terrace is one we are looking forward to trying.
We also enjoyed Monsieur Paul (currently closed), as is Flying Fish.
For an anniversary, I would consider California Grill or Jiko (also currently closed).

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in June (also on a Friday). We have our kids with us, so we aren't going the romantic route haha, and don't want to deal with leaving a park to go dress up. Will probably stick to Epcot that day since it is our favorite park. Le Cellier is very good, but also keeping an eye on Space 220 in case that opens in time. We are treating the whole trip as a celebration (20 years dating and 10 years married that week), so I don't feel the pressure to be super fancy the day of. .. I would expect Epcot's hours to be extended until at least 8p for your April trip, though.

Romance is subjective and personal, but I suggest starting with lunch and wine at Chefs de France and then exploring your way around the World Showcase for dessert and more beverages. For Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Brown Derby is the only place I'd recommend for an adult-only anniversary meal.

Wherever you eat, if you’re SW fans, you’ve just GOT to have some matching “Revenge of the 5th (Sith)” t-shirts with your anniversary date on them! You won’t see your smiles in pics, but you’ll see that Lol

Have narrowed things down a little so looking for advice. We will be in Epcot on our 5th Anniversary. So right now Epcot is scheduled to be open until 7, but my guess is that it will be 8 or so like it has been lately. Would we be better off doing Le Cellier and staying in the park or heading out for Topolino? I am really torn between these two. Anyone have recent experience at either that was really good or really off? My time for ADRs is rapidly approaching so I am trying to decide which to grab if I can.

Le Cellier is good. Topolino’s is exceptional.
