"For the safety of everyone, participants in the Stroller Walk Division are required to walk the 5K course and children must be secure in the stroller throughout the race."

How much is this enforced? If my baby is screaming would I be able to take her out of the stroller and comfort her or do I have to drop out? I can understand they don't want toddlers running around by why wouldn't they let me carry her in a bjorn?

Go and have fun... do not fret the small print. It is a fun run and the warning label is there to attempt to put a little discipline in the event. Think of this requirement on the site as an insurance requirement. As long as you have your child in the stroller most of the race and secure, you will not have an issue. Imagine a really fast runner trying to push a 2 yo who is standing and throwing a fit while the oblivious dad is trying to place in the race. That is what they are trying to avoid.

With regard to the bjorn, I would think the stroller a safer alternative - thinking lots of others feet and tripping...
