Good morning--first time cruiser here. Just wondering if the 5K run was available on every cruise. 4 night Dream cruise in August 2021 and would love to do this with my daughter.

Thoughts are that a 5K on CC is SOP.

note: On some of our cruises on other cruise lines we have had organized On Board 5K for Charity events.

Generally the Castaway Cay 5k is offered on all cruises that dock at the island. It does have a 10 year old lower age limit to officially be part of it. however, there is nothing saying that you cannot do the course on your own.

We were able to reserve it during the onboarding booking for our August cruise, so they are still allowing it to be booked. No idea if it will actually happen or not. My guess is no: large crowd of people waiting around at a starting line and then running together and breathing heavily---sounds not so good right now.
