.

I'm not sure what hopspital you will be at, but I have an aunt that works at AGMC. If you will be there, I will tell her to take extra good care of you! ::yes::

Lots of good suggestions here. Just wanted to let you know you'll be in my prayers. Could someone let us know how things are going with you?

Prayers and pixie dust that everything works out great.

You might want to pack a scarf or a baseball cap that can be adjusted. When Benji had his surgery, he was self concious about his scar, and a baseball hat covered it nicely.
You're in my prayers,

After thinking about it some more the one thing I really wish I had was clean underwear.
Like I said in an earlier post my surgery was unexpected so I was definitely on the phone with my parents A LOT. When I was actually in surgery my boyfriend ran home to shower and charge my cell phone.
But the underwear...the last thing I wanted to do was pull on the ones I had worn all day yesterday...ewwwww
Also I had worn jeans to the ER and after my surgery which was in my feminine area, it was SO painful to get jeans on.

Actually, cell phones are usually a big no no in hospitals because they can interfere with some of the equipment other patients may be using. Check with a nurse before turning it on if you bring one at all. And AMEN to wearing loose and stretchy clothing. No matter where your wound is it'll be far more comfy. I recommend sweats or stretchy elastic waist pants/shorts and a loose comfy T-shirt with no bra.

You've had some great suggestions so far.:) I'd also add some socks, some beauty supplies, something to play some music on (cd player, tape player, etc). A laptop.;)

If you have a tape player, have the kids sing some songs or something on it.:)

Good luck, Pembo.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers...everything will be fine with all of us here praying for you.

A comfy robe, slippers, chapstick, and lotion would be good to bring along with a toothbrush. Since it is major surgery you probably will be sleeping and resting most of the time. I hope you have a quick recovery and will pray that everything goes well and you are back home as soon as possible. Take care.
