For DH's parents 50th, each couple gave them a set amount(not enough for a trip to Hawaii , by any means!LOL!) But they were thrilled and used the $ on their next long RV trip. Maybe the money you suggested was too much? :confused:

Scarlett-I didn't suggest any set amount. Just the idea that we give them $$ towards a trip.

Could you call them and talk it over with each brother? Maybe they have a different suggestion or just didn't want you to be dissapointed if they said no, so hasn't responded.

Got to love men don't ya! We worry over something and then don't even give it a thought.

I can see it, they get the letter, the wife reads it and says you need to call your sister about this. The letter will sit in a pile and your brothers will forget about it. If and when you bring it up, they'll say, oh yeah, you did send that letter, I guess we could do that. Now how much money did you say it will cost!

That's exactly what happens!::yes:: ::yes::

Pembo, I hope it works out.:sunny:

Just start saving and give as much as you can to them and come out the favorite!!!

My two oldest brothers can be real pains! The oldest and his family didn't show up for Easter dinner - didn't call - just didn't show up - very typical behavior. I asked him to at least call our Mom (he'll go months w/o calling her!) My second oldest brother told my youngest brother that he has the mind of a 13 year-old. He says this to a guy who had a head injury 19 years ago?!?!?
ai-yi-yi-yi-yi!!

(brothers - gotta love them?)
