I never tan! Unfortunately, spent my teen years trying, but just looked like a lobster.

I have 2 redheads and one will burn even with sunscreen, PLUS even with the 2 mild burns she has had, she itches like crazy. My kids have to wear "sunscreen" shirts til 3-4 o'clock and it gets harder every year to get them on! My youngest tans a bit, even with sunscreen on.

I want to go to one of the spray tan places!

I am a pale white, and a natural red head. I am very proud to be fair skinned, and never had any interest at all in changing my skin color. I am quite content being fair skinned.

I use lots of sun block when I am at WDW, even in December.

I use an SPF 40 or so in FL, hope to come back with no color change, and usually do tan only the slighest while there. I don't need skin cancer. And, ALWAYS where my brimmed bucket style hat when there too.

That would be me! I'll get a "tan" complete with tan lines and still look as white as a ghost. Oh well, better to be pale than wrinkled, I say.

If there was such a color as "Neon White"-- that'd be me!

I'm one of those people that never look tan. I get a tan, if you saw my tan lines you'd know, but I never look it.

::yes::

I always look pale! I sometimes get a little bit of a tan in the summer, but I usually just go straight from white to red. And my sunburn never fades into a tan, it just peels...ew. And if I am tan at all, most people don't notice unless I point out tan lines, lol. My friends make fun of me all the time for being so pale, but I don't actually think I would look good with a dark tan anyway. It just woudn't work with my complexion.

I just told someone today that my legs were so white, if you put me in blacklight they'd glow. :)

I'm only tan if all my freckles combine into a single big one. ;) Otherwise I'm a sickly looking rotten banana. ;)

...for my freckles to all blend together - I'd be brown then!!!

I have only been tan once in my life, and that was when I lifeguarded in the mountains at a Girl Scout camp for the summer. I went to a tanning booth (VERY BAD, I know) first, got burned, and then I was tan all summer.

Since then, I am pasty as ever. I wear sunblock for babies, a bucket hat, and stay in the shade. I get chafed easy, too.

Everyone else in my family gets tan, oh well...

So who else out there just doesn't tan?

This is me too! I have to show my tan lines to prove I have a tan.

I do not prematurely age my skin or add to the risk of skin cancer.

Yay! Now will all of you come and hang out with me at the pool this summer so we can all look tan together?! My entire family tans and my kids get beautiful tans wearing 25 spf all summer. I am greatful they didn't get my skin. Sunburn is just a pain, in any sense of the word. :p

PALE PEOPLE UNITE!

Just think how perfect we all would have been in the days when color on your skin was so out!

Another pale person checking in... I don't tan, I just turn red. I tried to tan when I was a teenager, but didn't really enjoy lying in the sun and sweating. :teeth: Now I don't worry whether I'm "stylish" or not... I just slather on the sunblock, plop on a sun hat, and go. ::yes::

I'm very pale. The upside is I have a small chance of skin cancer, and will wrinkle a bit later in life. Tanning is not good.
