I read that the CM name tags were modified for the 50th celebration to indicate the person's years with Disney (or perhaps their hire date?) I'm hoping they will still be sporting these tags in September when we go. It would be fun to talk with those who have been around awhile, and those who are just getting started.

The usual tags list the CM's hometown, I think? And they'll be getting those tags issued after the 50th. Those must make for conversation pieces as well. Do the CMs come from all over the world, or just within the US? Just curious...

I read, on mouseplanet, a week or so ago that the 50th tags with the start year on them will be leaving with the 50th celebration.

They should still be wearing them in September, though as the celebration lasts through Sept 30. Not all of the nametags are correct, though, with the right year that cm started work. I several cms that have been there for many years whose tags say 2005. They are generally in entertainment through.

Seriously? What sense does that make???? :confused3

Makes none, except in one case where I think that they wanted them to all look like they started at the same time.

They are getting new nametags to start wearing in October, so they should have the gold ones in September. We use them to know who to ask questions to. We have found that if you ask someone with a 2006 nametag they never know the answer, so we keep going till we find an older one.

Good tip! :teeth:
