50th Anniversary

I’ve been off the boards for awhile so I apologize if this has been asked already, but is there any word about WDWs 50th? Like when does the celebration start? Any specials? Or is it too early?

I haven't seen anything yet, but I'm guessing it will be similar to the 25th anniversary and last a significant chunk of time starting on 10/1/21.

expecting, like lots of people, to hear something at the destination D event. Rumors are the festivities will start before the actual anniversary date either beginning of 2021 or late spring /summer 2021.

I'm also dying to know this. My 50th is in September 2021 and I'm dying to get some merchandise to celebrate mine and Magic Kingdom birthday. Some I'm a Disney lover and we both turn 50 why not!
