We are planning a 50th anniversary trip for our folks. They are veteran Disney-ers, been there many times and still love it. We have been quite a few times also. Most of the things we do though are with the kiddies. This trip is all about them, not the kids (although they are invited ) I am hoping to find some new things for us to do, places to eat etc. Would love some fine dining one night so would love to know your favorite places.

How are the "behind the scenes" type of tours I have read about?

I have found some great ideas while I've been lurking the past couple of days. Thanks, all.

Not sure if you've done any of the tours, but my understanding is that they are all excellent. Especially if they've been to WDW many times.

I would suggest an Illuminations Cruise. No matter how many times they've seen Illuminations, the cruise takes it up a notch and you get to enjoy some boat touring of Crescent Lake and the canal up to MGM too.

How about a carriage ride at Port Orleans or SSR. You can have flowers or baloons delivered or bring a bottle of wine and plastic glasses. I surprised my husband for our 17th anniversary at SSR. We had a great time. I think the #was (407)wdw-play.

I took my father on the Segway tour at Epcot. He had a great time!
