50th Anniversary Celebration

Does anyone know how long the 50th Anniversary Celebration is set to last? My husband and kids and I are planning a trip for early December 2006 with my sister and her family and we were all wondering if the celebration will still be going on during our visit.

I'm pretty sure you will be too late. When the 50th celebration started on May 5, 2005, it was going to run for 18 months. That would mean it will close up in Oct. 2006.

I think it goes on until November 2006.

The 50th Celebration officially ends September 30, 2006. Although, so simple addition tells us that's not really 18 months.
