If you had to choose from 50's Primetime, Sci-fi, and Mama's Melrose, which one would you choose?

Also, if you do Mama's and get the dinner package, can you order anything off of the menu? Does this package count as 1 TS meal?

I'd say 50's Prime Time-it's got it all! Great food (& amazing desserts!), wonderful and unique theming, fun atmosphere, generally good service. Also, it's the perfect mood setting for a break between park time :thumbsup2

Sci-Fi has the atmosphere, but food isn't very good. I've heard very inconsistent reviews for Mama's food and service. But I don't think you can go wrong with 50's Prime Time.

My vote goes for 50's! We love it there, they have great food and a super fun atmosphere!

Does the 50's Prime Time still have those FANTASTIC Peanut Butter & Jelly Shakes??? Many years ago we were there and those were the BEST!!!

I'm a big fan of Mama Melrose, going there on just about every trip since 1995, so that would be my choice.

I also vote for 50's. I was very disappointed in Sci-Fi food when we were there in December.

I've been to all three and would vote: 50s, Mama's, Sci Fi

They are all very good. We like Sci-fi alot, but you have to be ok with the 50's monster movies, which alot of kids arent.

Mama's is our favorite for the Fantasmic dinner package.

And the 50's Cafe is really fun too.

But to have to choose?????

Anyone know if Mama Melrose Fantasmic package still includes an appetizer, even if you are using the DDP for the package?

50's, hands down! We haven't tried Sci-Fi (yet), and the food at MM's was good but the service was horrible.

We are going for Sci-Fi for lunch this year, burgers and fries and shakes. We have not done this restaurant yet and I know the kids will just love it..

One vote for SciFi. Five of us ate there during our last visit; the service was great, the food perfect, and our waiter was exceptional. For four of us it was our second time eating there but our first at a car table.
We also ate at Cinderella's Royal Table during the same visit to WDW last year. The service at both were superb, while the food was delicious and appropriate to each experience.

hmmm... I'm split between 50's and Sci-fi.
The atmosphere is great in both, but 50's has better desserts IMHO, and I think the waitstaff is more sociable at 50's. (based on personal experiences, of course)

The atmosphere and food all make for this mom's favorite. Lunch is cheaper, but the atmosphere is just so fun. Try to stay for the entire 45 minute reel of the movies.

My choice in order would be:
1) Sci-Fi
2) 50s
3) Mama's

We love the atmosphere at the Sci-Fi and the we think the food is good. Not fancy.... but good. We have been twice and plan to go again. We also like 50s. The food is great and the servers are fun. We were there once and would go again. Just a different thing going on inside with the Sci-Fi that we like more. We have eaten at Mama's twice and do not plan to go back. Both times the sauce was too think, brownish, and one too many spices. The food is rubbery and oily. We did the dining package last May. We can order anything on the menu and it did count as 1 table credit. The only thing they do differently is take your credit card in case you don't show up. They will charge $10 per person if you don't come. Otherwise, there is no additional costs and no rules on ordering. It is worth it for the package but we really did not enjoy the food there.
