50's PTC or Sci-Fi Dine In? Can't decide...

We have eaten at Sci-Fi and love the atmosphere (and despite the many threads I've read, we have enjoyed our meals- mostly burgers and fries). But this year our DS21 will join us, so if we go to Sci-Fi they have to put us in 2 cars. That doesn't seem fun. And they would probably put someone else in the car with us.

SO we are thinking of the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Any thoughts? I do have picky kids (nuggets and hot dogs are faves). Would the younger kids (DS11 and DD8) even get the whole 50's thing? Just can't decide!

How many are in your party? I'm pretty sure I saw cars that seated 6. We ate at sci-fi and 50's in Jan. We really loved 50's. The atmosphere was sooo fun, and the food was great. We are eating at 50's again in Oct. Hope that helps and have a great time whatever you decide.

When we did Sci Fi there were only 3 in our party and we got a whole car to ourselves. How about Sci-Fi for an early lunch and then 50's for a later dinner.

At Sci-Fi our family of 4 sits in front seat and in back seat, and I think it would easily seat 6. We love the food and ambiance there. Primetime is good, too, so either way you won't go wrong!

If it were me, I would pick 50's Primetime.. My DD15 and DS 13 who were 12 and 15 at the time of our last trip absolutely loved 50's as they thought the waitstaff was hilarious.. I personally think the food is better there than Sci Fi also..

My 8 and 10 yo's loved PTC. They got the 50's thing and really 'got' the razzing and fun poked at them (and us) from the servers. Baseball caps, cell phone usage, and cleaning your plate are all crimes!

They are picky eaters and found enough to be happy with in order to 'get' dessert!

My kids LOVED 50's PTC and the food was really good!
