50s Primetime or O'hana's

Which would you prefer? I have eaten at Ohanas last year before the menu change and never eaten at 50s PT cafe. Would love to hear your opinions.

I've eaten at both....DH will not go to Prime time...doesn't like anyone watching what he's eating/not eating....
Both have delicious food...atmosphere is opposite in these two places...one reminds me of being home w/mom & dad in the 50's...right down to the tables, aprons, hairdo's and the "you have to finish everything on your plate...there are people starving in (Europe, Asia, India, etc)"....O'hana's peaceful (noisy), that whole other world type of being....relaxed.

You need to visit both and come back and let us know what your preference is....everyone is on their own when it comes to restaurants and politics.....

We had a really fun time at 50's Prime Time....especially when the waitress took my son's plate with uneaten green beans....and brought them back in a small ice cream bowl with whipped creme and sprinkles on top. It was hilarious.

We didn't really think the food was so great however. But it was worth the trip to try it out.

Trying O'hana's Nov 6 at 745pm. Anyone else gonna be there then???

We LOVED O'hanas! We went there twice last June. What are the changes in the menu?

We were at O'hanas for the 1st time on 9/24. I had heard about the changes and was not sure if I would like the potatoes or the bread pudding. I was pleasantly surprised!! The meal was great. The potatoes had lots of flavor, and the bread pudding...mmmmm!! I had this idea that I didn't like bread pudding (maybe the name??). It was wonderful. Too bad I was already so full.

We were at 50's last Friday for dinner and had a wonderful time. As long as we kept our elbows off the table, the waiter didn't harass us at all. We and the other families in our "kitchen" became quite friendly in the short time we were there. And the food was really quite good, many people around us cleaned their plates, tho I couldn't. We plan to make 50's a tradition from now on.
