50s Primetime for Thanksgiving dinner?

We are arriving at WDW from NY on Thanksgiving morning. We had booked the 2PM (only one available when I did it) Mickeys Backyard BBQ for thanksgiving which we were excited about, BUT we would be rushed getting there since we are arriving that AM. My 7 y.o has said he wants to spend Thanksgiving evening at HS at the Osborne Light Spectacular. A 5:55 PM reservation for 50's primetime café that day just opened so I grabbed it. Now I cant decide for sure which to keep, it does seem if visiting HS that evening is a priority then it makes sense to eat dinner there, but Im wondering how the food would be, Ive only been there once, and wasn't wild about the food.

I personally have never attended the back yard bbq but I hear so many good things about it. I think I would do that. Plus I believe the weather is gonna be nice that week. The bbq would be great!

I would keep 50's I have heard very mixed reviews of the BBque. And we love 50's. I don't know if they have a special holiday meal.
