Is this a good place for a party of 9 ages 3 to 65 to go to? Worth the price? Quantities fair for cost? Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

You'll get LOTS of diff reviews on this one.

We've eaten their twice, and LOVED the food both times. Very very good food with HUGE portions - we easily split and still had issues with finishing them.

The service/playfulness is hit and miss. Both times, we got a less than playful server, but seemed to always be seated in a section with another server that was playful, so we enjoyed getting in on those antics. If your group is outgoing and playful, you'll probably love this place. I think with a big party, it might be even more fun =)

The decor is very cool and well themed, and like I said the food is very good and portions are huge - so worth the money. I would try it =)

When we ate there in 2000, we had a great server, Auntie Claire, she was a stickler for elbows OFF the table. She even made my husband wear a bib. Does anyone know if she's still there? That meal was actually one of the many highlights of our first trip to Disney.

We didn't care for the food as well but we did have a LOT of fun eating there so that kind of made up for it. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't BAD but the food wasn't as good as the homecooked food we'd get at Cracker Barrel or Perkins. I hope that I didn't offend anyone with these comparisons that's just what we have here to compare it to. ALSO, like I said, that was in 2000 the food could be much better now. I'm tempted to try it again after reading this thread.

This is my favorite place to dine @ MGM. The food & service is excellent.

we've been going there for years, and each visit we eat there several times..
in all of those visits, we were only disappointed by a server once (she definitely seemed to have issues....either with us or in general...i'm not sure which)...but all the other servers were great fun...really fun....each in a different way....

i can't comment on the food, since i special order our food the day before (i call straight to the restaurant and order tuna salad sandwiches, which are no longer on the menu there...they used to be several years ago).......
by the way, the chocolate milkshake is to die for....THICK and perfect....

one thing, if you're sensitve to a/c, we're always freezing there.......and with the bottomless glass of cold drink, i'm usually shivering by the end of lunch...
