Please share experiences with this restaurant for a birthday celebration. Can you order a special cake. I think you can get a cake at the podium (for a fee of course). My twin daughters want to eat there for their 15th birthday. Did the servers do or say anything "different".

Thanks.

Our 2007 trip was when DH had a birthday we celebrated at 50's PT it was great and funny, he shared it with a 'birthday twin' who was a little girl of about 8 they coloured in cards and signed them and exchanged cards all organised by our server 'cousin Sarah' thn they both got a birthday cupcake with lots of frosting and 'Mickey sprinkles' and they made everyone sing 'happy birthday' to them both:lmao::goodvibes:lmao: It was fun and even though we were having a full dinner (very yummy by the way) they packed the cupcake into a little container so we could take it back to our room with us. All in all it was a great meal with a wonderful atmosphere and we're going back for our anniversary in 7 weeks time for another dinner there:love::love:

You can specially order a cake for a premium cost if you like. I'm certain that if you have a cake, the server will do something special. If you don't order the cake and have it noted on your reservation your server could still do something special but it's not a given.

1) The Sara Lee frozen cakes are $21 at the podium.
2) They used to be $12 until they changed to Sara Lee.

We didn't even say anything about my dad's birthday and still got something. He had his birthday pin from guest relations on, and he got a cupcake with a candle, the whole "family" was lead in singing Happy Birthday and our "cousin" sent around a birthday card for everyone to sign. We weren't charged for it and he still got another dessert of his choice (we were on the dining plan). Not a given, but still pretty fun! I think 50's Prime Time would be an almost safe bet of getting something from because of the family theme atmosphere, especially if they have birthday pins on!

I hope they make it special for my best friend. We are eating here for his 28th birthday in September.

I picked 50's Prime Time for my birthday in August because I was born in the fifties :scared1: But I think it will be a fun atmosphere so I'm really looking forward to it, plus my fave food is fried chicken.

thanks for the price of the cake info. I was thinking of getting that for my kids so we could all have birthday cake, but that's a bit steep. We're on a bit of a budget and not on the dining plan. I think I'll get a cake at the grocery store and we'll have it for a week.
