Do you really have to eat everything on your plate before you get dessert? My mom loves meat and potatoes, but she is not so fond of vegis. We have a lot of fun making jabs about her poor eating habits - and I think she will be OK with the waitress doing the same, but she also will want her dessert.

They will harrass her a bit, but she will get her desserts. The waiter we had last time told my DH he needs to hide his veggies better. He took his fork and put his leftover potatoes on top of the veggies to show him how to hide them

I didn't eat my "Greens" and got them on a plate with whipped cream for my dessert! :lmao: He did bring my real dessert after though!

Our server helped my finish my veggies by feeding them to me. DSs got a kick out of that. Thing is, I wasn't finished eating yet, so be prepared :thumbsup2 Dessert came shortly after.

Your mother can simply substitute the veggies for something she will eat. My husband does that all the time if there is a veggie listed he doesn't like (which is just about all of them). If there's nothing else that really fits or that he wants, he just asks for the veggies to be left in the kitchen so they don't go to waste. He's never had a problem at 50s about that. No one is going to give your mother a hard time about thinking ahead so she's not wasting food.

I have been there twice and had no interaction whatever. the servers around us were really cool but sadly ours was a real dud both times to all of his tables. We wont be back.

Nah... I haven't eaten all of my food, yet. My waitress brought me a box. She was really fun, though.

Sometimes we've been there and the waiter played along. Sometimes he/she did not. Last time, my DS-8 got grapes in a little cup and was playing around and turned the cup upside down with the grapes underneath. He wasn't meaining to hide them, but he got caught for it!! We laughed so hard and so did he - he usually gets so embarrassed and mad if he gets caught doing something. It's all in good fun.
