This will be our first time eating here. Can anyone tell me some of what happens to you there? I am trying to prepare DD7 who has a tendancy to be dramatic at times.......who has been and what is your funniest happening there? Thanks!

We've been twice. The first time, our server was only partially into the "act" which was perfect for us. She was very nice and we had a great time with her. Nothing more exciting than asking one of us to finish our green beans or no dessert. We had great conversations with her.

Last year, our server was a bit more into it and was quite funny. I would swear she had eyes in the back of her head. I kept putting my elbows on the table, and she would quickly pass our table and without even looking over yell out to me to get my elbows off the table. We had some other happening also, but nothing overboard. We have a tradition where we like to get our picture taken with our server at TS meals(if they ok it, of course). She kept hohumming around about it and then grabbed our camera and took a couple pics of herself making faces. She was hilarious.

Be sure y'all know what color the soap is if your server knows you've been to the bathroom, cause he/she will want to make sure you washed your hands. If you don't know, you'll get chastised in front of everyone and have to go back to the bathroom. If you don't eat your veggies, then order dessert, don't be surprised to see your pile of veggies on your dessert plate covered in whipped cream and sprinkles. Other times, they might use the airplane technique to get you to eat your veggies. It really just depends on the server and if you don't want alot of excitement, then let the check-in person know it. Its a fun place to eat and reminds me alot of my grandma's house growing up. The food is really good too! Everything that's done is all in fun, remember! :)

We have been there several times. Every experience is server dependent. We have had waiters who did only a few things with us parents, to one who spent the entire meal trying to find a date for my teenage daughter. If you think your daughter might get upset over things, I would mention it before seating and with the server.

Well, last summer the woman at the table next to us talked on her cell phone and the server made her sing "I'm a Little Teapot" to our table. I felt bad for her - she was really uncomfortable. He then spent the entire meal trying to find dates to the dance for my 2 teenage boys. By the end of the meal he had paraded several girls over for them to check out. He found sisters from England that would be willing and brought them to the table to introduce them. It was funny but Grandpa thought perhaps he was intoxicated as crazy as he was! Be prepared!
