We are going to Disney in 11 days and wanted to go to 50's at MGM one night.. Can we make reservations that morning when we go into the park?? Also how can we assure we are going to get some good laughs... I dont want to go and have a boring server..... I want some good laughs from this place... Also will they allow 2 adults to share?? I dont eat much so can I share with someone??

You will be at WDW at a very busy time, so I suggest you call NOW and make your ADR. Prime Time is a very popular restaurant.

I'd make my ADR's as soon as possible if I were you. It's a popular place and chances of getting in the same day are slim. They do allow adults to share a meal and also will give you a second plate! However, the laughs depend on the waiter and there is no way to know who you'll get. It's the luck of the draw as they say. Some people do not always get the best waiter. I wouldn't not take the chance though. Enjoy!

We just got back from our trip last night and ate at 50's a few days ago.. it was a blast!! some of the things that you might try for laughs.. someone wear a hat at the table.. call someone on your cell phone, put your elbows on the table.. dont eat all of dinner before ordering desert.. It was me, dd8, dd14 and ds12 and a funny guy at the next table got ahold of a crayon and wrote on the table.. they brought him the cleaner and a rag to clean it up.. :rotfl2: it cleaned right up.. then when the waitress left he ran over to our table and scribbled on it.. :rotfl2: They made him come clean our table.. :rotfl: :lmao:

I highly recommend making an ADR for 50's PTC in advance. You might get an ADR the day of, but 50's is a very popular dining spot and the available ADRs fill up quickly.

As for the server, you can ask when you check-in to be seated at a table with a high energy server or something like that. Some servers are a little more laid back about the antics while some play it to the hilt. Most, however, take cues from you -- the diner -- on how you want to play the interaction. Be careful -- take things too far and you may wind up standing in the corner or singing "I'm a Little Teapot" in the middle of the room!!

Yes, you can split a meal at PT. DD and I always do. We split the fried chix dinner.

They usually bring it on two plates which is nice.

Did anyone notice a CM with a remarkable likeness and voice of Jerry Lewis, he served at our table some years back and was hilarious:lmao:
