50's Prime Time or Whispering Canyon?

I have made one ADR (although some are for lunch) for each day. I have one day left...and can't decide between these two rest. We are a family of four..with girls ages 4 and 8. Any thoughts? Thanks tons!

I think it depends on where you are. Peronally I would go for whispering cannon, as I like the food and the atmpshere better, but if you were already at MGM then I'd do Prime Time or maybe sci fi diner.

I agree. If you are at MGM that day, go for 50's. But, if you are at Epcot or MK or just hanging out, I'd go to WCC just to see the WL if you haven't been there before. It's a gorgeous resort. WCC is fun too, probably more fun for girls that age.

Toughie, but I'd also pick Whispering Canyon. Although my husband cannot go over 2 days without the Peanut Butter & Jelly shake from 50's, so we visit there at least 2X during our trips. Have fun!

Your kids will enjoy Whispering Canyon more, although I do agree with other posters who say that your location that day (and the relative ease of getting to whichever restaurant) is the best way to guide your choice. If you and your husband are of an age where you grew up in the 50s or 60s, 50s Prime Time will be a hilarious step back in a time machine for you. If you are of, ah, a more recent vintage and didn't grow up with the TV shows or decor of that era, then it's not that you wouldn't have fun or enjoy it, but it wouldn't be as "worth it" to make the effort.

I haven't eaten at the Whispering Canyon but I love the 50's Prime time cafe! The food is alright, but it is just so much fun, it's such an experience!

It'd really depend on where you wanted to end up that day, but for us, Whispering Canyon would win hands down. The WL is beautiful & the food/atmosphere there is wonderful!

WC would win with us, mainly because my DH can't fathom the thought of anyone watching him, telling him he has to finish his veggies or any other part of his meal....for me both were fun! Food at both is comparable....but if you've never been to WL...I'd go there just to see the place! Which ever you choose you'll have a good time! ENJOY!

We have done both. I say hands down WC but I decided to ask one of the experts. My DS7 said definitley WC.

We like both, but if we had to pick one it would be 50's PT. I agree with the previous comment about the PB&J shake. It is TO DIE FOR!

Both are excellent...Whispering Canyon ultimately gets my vote only because of the children involvement. 50's you "watch and enjoy the show"; WC you "become part of the show" - DD's should like that.
