50s Prime Time or Sci-Fi?

I have no idea where to eat on my next trip! I've decided our meals for every other day except for our HS day. We've eaten at Hollywood & Vine and we weren't that impressed with the options, so we want to try something different. We would be eating there for dinner. So, 50s Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant? Or, should we just eat somewhere else at HS?

Between the two I would choose Sci-Fi personally, but I'll be eating at the Brown Derby on my upcoming trip.

I would choose 50s over Sci Fi. We love 50s and eat there every trip, even asking for a particular waiter we love. Sci Fi has always been ok to me, but I really hate eating in the dark. It just bugs me that you can't really see your food very well.

Brown Derby was good, but not outstanding for the price (and it's 2 credits on the DDP). We won't return there. Mama Melrose usually gets panned everywhere, but we ate there once and I thought it was pretty good.

How many are in your party? Kids? Adults? We love both of those restaurants. They have very different themes. We hit them both each time we go. This time we are eating lunch at Sci Fi and having dessert at Prime Time. The Sci Fi - is fun. Since we are there this summer - it is a nice, quiet, cool place with good food to relax during the day. It is amazing how quiet it is inside. Although we love the food and dessert at Prime Time - the kids and DH love the fried chicken and I love the PB&J shake.

Sorry I don't think that I helped you but you won't make a mistake with either restaurant.

We enjoyed Sci-fi, and are planning to go again on our upcoming trip.

We've eat at both and would return to 50's. Cool atmosphere, fun staff, and the fried chicken/pot roast from the sampler were very good.

They have an all day menu, so lunch and dinner are the same choices.

We've tried both and 50's is our go to restaurant now at HS. The DDP works well here for families, as half can get dessert and the other half can get a milkshake with their meal instead of dessert and then share them! :thumbsup2

We love Sci Fi and have done it on our last two trips. That being said, we're giving 50s PT a shot this year. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but we think Sci Fi might have a more unique theme than 50s.
