50's prime time or sci fi??

50's for sure! It is a riot and everyone is silly. You get awesome pics too! (I do everything for the pictures!) LOL! The food was good too!

We've eaten at both. My teen prefers Sci Fi just because its more fun. She would agree though that the food is much better at 50's Prime Time.

I've been to both, but Sci Fi I do every trip. The one trip I didn't, I actually felt deprived. Just love the theme and ambience here.

Prime Time story - the one time I went was with my sister and her husband. We had a great waiter who was really into the antics. The young people at a table next to ours asked for "to go" boxes for their leftovers. The waiter brought out this HUGE brown cardboard box (something that a whole bunch of supplies must have been shipped in!) When the waiter left the room, they proceeded to fill the box with their dirty dishes! I still had food left on my plate and could not finish...and fearful that he may try to "feed" me...I got up and went to their table with my plate and put it in their box!

Well, they were just dying...hysterical with laughter. And of course, the waiter comes strolling back toward the room...sees me at their table and scolds me "Connie! What are you doing? Get back to your seat!"

Then he peers into the big cardboard box and says, "You are all washing dishes tonight."

We had such fun! Laughed until our stomachs ached.

Would I go alone? Nope. But with my sister and husband - yep! We still talk about it and laugh!

Sci Fi is a cool place, and great for families or singles. Just know that it's likely that you may be in cars where you are seated back-to-back rather than face-to-face. But the old clips, the cars, and I've always had such great service here...it's one of my personal favorites.

Just a matter of deciding what suits your family better!

Sci-Fi without question - we think the atmosphere is so cool and the whole 'thing' of 50sPT does not appeal to us at all.

You really can't go wrong with either! But I'd have to say that I would probably choose Sci-Fi. The theme is just so awesome and you really feel like you're in a drive-in!

When my kids were younger they loved Sci-fi for the set up. We did 50"s too & my then 17 yr old had to get up & sing I'm a little tea pot for having her elbows on the table. Fortunatly she was a great sport about it but I can tell you my 15 yr old Step daughter would not, she would have died!

Better selection of food at 50's & fun to interact with the servers. Sci-fi as I said with the way it's set up. I always just get a big order of french fries & a very nice Godiva milkshake drink...with a blinking cube

Can't go wrong with either one IMO.

I've been to both and my vote is for 50s. Sci-Fi does have a really neat theme, but the food at 50s is so much better (the fried chicken is awesome). I'm not a big fan of how the servers interact with the guests at 50s, but I'm willing to go again just to have more of that chicken. Hopefully we'll have a lower-key server like we did last year...
