50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi for dessert??

Has anyone been to either of these restaurants for dessert only??

DD8 and I are not big eaters, only snackers. We went to Sci-Fi last June and really enjoyed the atmosphere. This year, we're only going to be stopping by for dessert and I thought about trying the 50's Prime Time Cafe.

We're not picky dessert eaters either, in fact, DD will probably only get a milkshake at either place.

Anybody favor one over the other??

We ate there a few weeks ago and we all got sundae's and they were great. I don't recall the other deserts, but the sundae's were wonderful.

50's prime time is VERY entertaining, they make you feel like your eating at home back in 50's, whether it be a full meal or just desserts, {oops, I made a funny} just desserts, get it?.... never mind.

Definitely the 50's Prime Time.The desserts are better and it's more fun.We were given a viewmaster to look through to pick out dessert.They even have smores.

Another vote for Prime Time, it's just so much fun there!

If your daughter is adventurous she can try the peanut butter and jelly shake, it's supposed to be wonderful!

We've had dessert at both. I guess I would say Prime Time was a little better. The only thing I dont like about this place is the same thing that makes it so much fun for other people. Dont get me wrong. I like the whole idea of the "mom" telling you to eat your veggies and keep your arms off the table and all that fun stuff , but for me, at some point I just want to eat my food and enjoy some peace and calm. I dont know. Maybe I just have had the over-agressive type of wait staff the couple times that I ate there. It was funny at first, then it was kind of like "will you please give it a rest and let me eat!!!". I really do like the place and the atmosphere, but I guess the overbearing waiter/waitress thing is a pet peave of mine. Call me crazy.

My vote is for 50's Prime Time for dessert. I love their Smores and Milkshakes. They are the best and taste so very good.
