50's Prime time or Mama Melrose ?

I have a adr for 50's Prime time I'm not sure if we should book Mama Melrose instead. We have never ate at 50's and that is why we booked there. Any reviews on either?

I have been to both and I prepare 50 pt over MM. LIke pp mm was nothing special and 50 was more fun.

We found the food "okay" at Mama Melrose, while we really enjoyed the food AND fun atmosphere at 50's PT. I guess put it this way, we're going back to 50's pt next year, I don't think we will be going to MM.

PT 50's was one of our favorites, the pot roast is some of the best I have ever had.

Have to agree with the previous posts...MM was fine, but the food was "ok", and we weren't in a hurry to go back.

We have tried them both as well. We prefer Mama Melrose for the food. The salmon or steak was great at MM and the Tiramisu is heavenly.

I guess it depends on the kind of food you want. We do not like pot roast, meatloaf or fried chicken, so we will not be returning to 50s PT.

I agree with those who say 50s Prime Time.

I would say the food is usually very good we have had some times where the food has been so so at 50s prime time but anytime we have eaten at mama it was just not good...even if you have an off day at 50s prime time the theming and atmosphere should make up for it.

We love Prime Time and always have alot of fun there. Unfortunately when we went in Aug. we had the worst waiter we have ever had in our many years of going to Prime Time. He didn't get into the act at all and once we place our orders we basically never saw him again since the food was brought out by others. He never returned to see if we needed anything and never even brought refills on drinks. We will probably go back on our next trip but this is the first time we were disappointed in the service.

I love 50's PT. Not only is the food really good but I like looking at my desserts through the view master.

Never been to MM but we had our first trip to the 50s this spring. We just got a cup of soup for lunch and peanut butter and jelly milkshakes. We enjoyed the shake so much that we went back again later in the week for the same lunch!
