Hello all,

I am taking a poll. I would really like to do 50's Prime time for dinner but may only fit it in on a night that I had Hoop Dee Doo scheduled.

what do you think I should do: Hoop Dee Doo or 50's.

I already have seatings for Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's table, Fantasmic at Mama Melrose and Ohana's. I have a DS4 and DD 5. I don't want to do tooo much in a week. But I think the 50's would be fun.

What do you all think?

I have never been to HDD but I can tell you that 50's Prime Time is fabulous. We tried it for the first time last year and kept asking ourselves why we didn't try it sooner!!!!

50's is fun and has very good food, we eat there wvery trip.

The HDD is a great, great show and your kids are the perfect age. There is no contest at all, HDD will be a truly memorable experience for years to come, 50's will be a nice meal, forgotten in days.

I don't think you have a choice.

HDD is much more of a show (and much more expensive). I love both, but not sure you can compare them. I would say don't miss hdd.(maybe do prime time for lunch if you have time but sound like you'll be very full the whole trip) O'Hanas is great too, you'll love it.

Hi there...

The "entertainment" at the Prime Time diner is hit and miss... anything could happen. It is really more of a meal with a theme.

Hoop Dee Doo is confirmed, good fun, entertainment for all... my 8 year old loved it and still sings Hoop Dee Doo... Hoop Dee Doo around the house...

It is also kind of neat to visit Frt. Wilderness... there is a petting zoo and you are right on the lake.

>>^..^<<

Definatly, HDD. Great fun for people of all ages.

I think I'll stick with Hoop Dee Doo!!

Thanks for all the great comments.

Hi jerzgrl -
It would be nice if you could somehow fit in time to do both. The HDD is a great show with good food - we will be going for third time this coming July. We will also be making a PS for a lunch at Primetime, which we also enjoyed immensely, but as Richyams said, the HDD is very memorable. Have a great and magical trip.

Another vote for HdD. Great show and lots of fun. Primetime's humor is not for everyone. My husband and I don't particularily enjoy it.

Do 50's for lunch and HDD for dinner :)

I vote for the Hoop Dee Doo because the food and entertainment are great! We've been to the hoop dee doo a few times and have never been disappointed. I can't say the same for 50's Primetime Cafe.

Our kids also loved Hopp Dee Do. DS was six and laughed so hard he couldn't even eat!

One word of caution - we were not prepared for the trip back to our hotel. We were staying at the All Stars and it took us 90 minutes to get back! We had to wait for a bus to take us to the TTC, then wait for a bus to Downtown Disney, then wait for a bus to All Stars. Lugging the sleeping kids the whole way!

Our Tiffany towncar driver told us we could have set up a ride with them to pick us up from Fort Wilderness to go to All Stars. Wouldn't have thought of that.

Or call a cab!

Just a heads-up!

If you have never experienced the Hoop De Doo then you should at least once. When we went my son was 5 then and he had been chosen to go on stage! So of course my dinner at the Hoop De Doo was the highlight of our trip. We still tease him about it to this day, that was 8 years ago!
