Ate here last Sat and frankly was a little disappointed in the banter. Our guy seemed more ironic and sarcastic than confrontational. Anyhow, where I was absolutely amazed was that the food was outright fabulous. Had the Sampler and I am telling you it was fantastic. My kid had a chocolate shake that was to die for.

Totally caught off guard by the food quality. Wine selection could be better but that goes for almost all Disney Restos.

Glad you enjoyed the food. There was only one time that I got a really off server that just bordered on being plain rude.

They must have improved the food since Dec when we ate there. It was cold and overcooked. Not good at all. Plus the place is just plain noisy.

OP was lucky. The food we had there was nothing to write home about. As for our server, she provided no interaction or role-playing whatsoever. It was such a disappointing experience we decided never to go back.

Been there twice. Good food both times.
Once had great interaction with the server, she was really into the role and fun.
The second, could have been at any restaurant anywhere. No interaction or role-playing at our table or any others around us. We saw servers in their role at other tables. That part seems to be very server specific.

we have been there 3 times in the last 5 years, always good food and great interaction with the wait staff. Guess we are lucky every time we go there

We had good food there in December. It’s not gourmet, but it’s very good diner food, which is fitting. The fried chicken was hot, not greasy, and delicious. I wished I could eat it all. Luckily, my 16 year old nephew was with us and he finished everything, so we are all in the clean plate club (with stickers to prove it) thanks to him! Our server was perfect, and had a great sense of humor.

Been There 5 times since 2006 always have a good time. The 11 year old is in love with the pot roast and the peanut butter chocolate cake. She has picked this place for her 12th birthday dinner next year.

I have almost always enjoyed my meal there. Only once or twice was I disappointed in the food.

Humor is so subjective... I've ridden the jungle cruise so many times and it's crazy how some people will be laughing at loud at certain jokes while others roll their eyes. I'd probably enjoy a sarcastic waiter at 50s prime.

I was born in the 60’s but can almost guarantee the wine selection in the average household in the 50’s wasn’t much better than the 70’s! I think what they offer is probably on point. Possibly purposely not up to today’s standard?
