50s Prime Time Cafe quick review

On Memorial Day, we ate at 50s Prime Time Cafe. We first tried it on our last trip at our middle DD's insistence. The rest of us weren't so sure about the schtick but we all ended up loving it. It was the 1st restaurant on our list for this trip. We had to wait about 20 min past our ADR time, which was fine. It gave me time to enjoy Dad's Electric Lemonade! Several people were not so patiently waiting and giving the poor host/hostess CMs a hard time. Not cool, people, not cool. When we were seated, our fantabulous server Courtnay greeted us, reminding us of the rules of the house. She was just the perfect balance of great server & fun play along personality. Our glasses were never empty, we never felt rushed & the food was great. Courtnay totally made the experience. She was just great!! We'll definitely be going back to 50s PTC!!!

Glad you had a great time! We like PTC too. So much of your experience depends on your server. We've had a few great ones, a couple so-so, and one who would have been better working a someplace like Denny's

Food is good to-while others rave about the chicken we love the pot roast.

Here was one of our greater servers making DD finish her fries

She didn't so she had to clear her plate and take it into the kitchen.

You are 100% correct...the server makes the experience and you had one of the best!

We will not do it again, we had a crappy server who was not into it AT ALL. Did not bring food that was ordered and never provided an explanation as to why. The table next to us had a great server.

It was the only place we did not tip 20%
