50's Prime Time Cafe Question

We have only been there once and our waitress was awsome. I noticed she did an amazing job of guaging the guest's level of intrest in playing along because she was in character with us and our family because we were playing back, but she did not do as much with another family that seemed put off by the routine. I assume that it also depends on the CM as well.

Yep, Topher is the same CM that my kids and I had, and he was AWESOME. We went back again because they wanted to see him. I hope I get him this time too. He was so much fun.

Weve ate there every year as well ... they have always been in character for our trips. From making sure we eat all of our veggies to making somone stand up with their nose against the wall ... its always been a fun 'unique' time.

we are going in July, and I booked this especially for my mom. She was born in 1951 (ssshhhh) and I wanted to give her something that would make her tell stories of growing up with my grandma. I don't know how my kids will react, but I can't wait...especially since I am not telling anyone what this place is like. This will be a first time eating here for all of us.

Auntie Claire is the BEST!!! She really knows how to get into it!! I always ask for her. Just go and tell the hostess that you want a server who really likes to play, you may have to wait, but it is soooo worth it!

I second the vote for Auntie Claire. She is a blast!!

They used to give out a clean plate sticker if you ate everything on your plate. So last time we were there I told my DH about it and so he cleaned his plate completely but they stopped giving out the stickers... he was so disappointed
