50s Prime Time Cafe for party of 3

Hi all! After spending an hour on hold to make my reservations, I finally did it!!!!

My question is this. After all the ressies were made and the confirmation numbers were being told to me, the person on the phone told me that my reservation for a party of 3 has been separated into 2 tables. I would need to get there 15 mins prior and speak to the person at the podium about putting us all together. Has anybody been through this before? Would there be a problem seating the 3 of us together? I tried asking for other times where we would get the 3 of us together and it looks like all the other times available were for 2 seats only.

How is this restaurant designed like?

That is really the oddest thing. I don't think that I've ever noticed tables for 2 in there. If so, there can't be many. Most of the tables are tables of 4 with a tv at one end. There are other tables set up in a row, so I'd guess that's where the tables for 2 would be. The tables there could be pushed together for larger groups. I think if you checked in early they would probably be able to fit you together.
