Ive eaten at both.... but I cant decide.. which one seems more quiet??? This will be for a late lunch in Aug.. when I will be hot and sweaty and need a good break.

Neither seems particularly quiet, but Sci-Fi is always dark and cool on a hot day. Also, we were so disappointed on our last visit to 50's Prime Time that we have not gone back.

We were just at Sci-Fi on Saturday night and my mom could not get over how quiet it was in there! With the way that the seating is you really can't talk to anyone too easily besides the person who is next to you. My kids were too engrossed in the movie clips to do any talking either!

Both of these restaurants have fun and unique atmospheres, but I find that the food at 50's prime time is a lot better.

I think the Sci-Fi is more quiet.....sometimes there is alot of "goings on" at the 50's!! We enjoy both, they are great fun and offer a different dining experience than what we have at home.

:goodvibes

Sci Fi is definitely quieter and cooler but I also think it's the worst TS meal at WDW (besides Mexico in Epcot). I guess if it were hot and crowded outside, I would pick SciFi and just have a milkshake for lunch. Those are tolerable there.
