Anyone getting this message ALL the time?? It's drive\ing me nuts!

Please tell me I am not alone, and someone is looking into it...

I get that message close to 100% of the time when I'm on my new Mac. I've learned that I need to use the old PC when I want to DIS. Not sure why the Mac is different, but it is.

I dont have a mac and the last few days have been horrid. I have been using Fox, but I am writing this on IE, thinking Fire FOX might be having an issue.

It's quite a pain, I will try deleting cookies

I'm not sure I've figured out how to delete cookies on the Mac . . . Looks like I need to find that information.

I think I just typed how to delete cookies in the help box and it said exactly how to do it. I just deleted them all, although I think you can select the ones you want to delete.

I've been getting it only on the DIS, and only when using Firefox. For a while, I only got it on certain threads, on certain boards, when using Firefox, but as of yesterday, I started getting it all the time.

I get it occasionally. I delete cookies every night.

I am getting irritated with the length of time it takes to load pages....sometimes.
Sometimes they are speedy and sometimes, they just take forever...and then they are trying to double post. I get the "you have to wait 39 seconds"....or 17 or any random number.

I never get that message. However, I have noticed, increasingly over the last few weeks, that I'm encountering periods of time (30-300 seconds) during which my browser just spins, trying to load something from the DIS (and indeed I don't have that with other websites, at least not generally).

I am using Firefox, so perhaps that's why I don't get the Error 503.

It seems to be an issue with Firefox, I cleared my files/cookies and things are ok now.

I find problems with IE, Firefox and Chrome. Makes no difference.

If trying to delete dis cookie, do a search for disboards.com cookie and delete. If you delete all cookies, you will also lose those you probably want to remain. Temp file clearing may help. If Firefox is ver 3.0.9, update to 3.0.10, there were some freezing problems experienced with 9
