5000.00 budet in Orlando

Im guessing alot of you have price several venues in Orlando, and I havent had anytime to read thru this section. Sorry, One of the young ladies I work with is thinking about a wedding in Orlando around Thanksgiving. Her budget is 5000.00 with possibly 75 -100 attending. Is that even a possibility? for small wedding and decent recpetion? Maybe at one of the offsite resorts , She will bring her own photographer. Thanks for any advice Im hoping it is. Ive never been to disney for the holiday

I would say that it will be very difficult to feed that many people at a traditional-style reception for that amount. If she's open to a more casual meal or a picnic, then it could work.

For the ceremony, she might want to check out Leu Gardens (http://www.leugardens.org/weddings.html). Nearby Winter Park also has some public gardens and reception halls that are available for weddings and might be an economical choice: http://www.cityofwinterpark.org/pages/departments/parks_and_recreation/Weddings.aspx).

If she finds a venue to do a simple "cake and punch" reception I think that's your only chance.

Not sure what kind of feel you are looking for, but my fiance works at Falcon's Fire Golf club. It's about 15 minutes from Disney. Their prices are a lot more reasonable than a Disney wedding would be. The wedding planners are super nice, and the food is great...
