I just found all hidden mickeys today and for my reward I received the following.

Congratulations! You've earned the ultimate VMK Reward:

the VMK Insider Tour of a REAL Disney Theme Park.

Enjoy express boarding onto attractions and answer trivia questions along the way to win cool virtual prizes. Plus, learn the "insider" secrets of upcoming plans for VMK expansion!

It's good for up to four people.

Has anyone won this? Is the biggest reward you can get on VMK? It does say ultimate?

Congratulations!

Yeah, I won the same thing when I found all 50.

As to whether it's the biggest reward, it is a pretty big prize, but I think it's really up to the person that won it to decide that.

For me, it was a cool prize, but I don't live near a park and won't be going anytime soon, so it really wasn't much use to me. Fireworks pins and invisibility pins have greater value to me because I can usually trade them for quest items that you can only get in the parks.

I actually gave my coupon to TrixieMaguee (sp?) and she said that the tour was pretty awesome and they got some great information and background, so I'm sure that it's a fantastic prize and probably the best...if you can get to a park.

Congrats, again!

Hope you have a great time if you go.

The tour is great! I did not find all hidden mickeys, but it is the same reward for anwering all questions right on the quests. The tour is packed with great information and prizes. Everyone on our tour got to ride Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder MT and Haunted Mansion. There was an insiders quest at the Haunted mansion. We were given a quest before we entered the ride. Then we answered questions along the ride. At the end we got prizes for all the questions answered right. That's where I got my haunted mansion room, madame leota, table, donald duck chair, clock, tree, and a penny presser. My son answered a question along the way correctly and he got a teleporter. Another guest got a tent room for answering questions right. Not sure what others were rewarded for additional questions, but there were more prizes!

Cool I'm heading to WDW December 11th so I'll try the tour one of the days we go to the Magic Kingdom.

You need to make reservations for the tour at City Hall in WDW. I'd make them the first day you get there as they fill up quickly.

Wow, you get VIP tour coupons now? All I got was the Gold Oswald and some credits when I found all 50 :p

:goodvibes You guys have really got to start reading the guide! ;)

Since you went ahead and got your last Mickey your coupon expires 12-31-05

if you had waited til Jan 1 2006 those will probably expire 12-31-2006.

The Great thing about the Tour Voucher is you do not have to wait to do the Quests to book your Tour, since from what I have been hearing they are booking up fast and sometimes are fully booked.

I have a feeling that this may become a PR(priority reservations) item in the future.

How many total people can sign up for one tour? I know the voucher/certificate I received say up to 4 people.

i've been told by mr.mental that you also get a pair of golden mickey ears :-o

he told me this after his last mickey was accepted into the system

You don't get the gold mickey ears for finding the hidden mickeys. You have to go to the parks to get those. But you do get a gold Mickey pin.

I also won the VIP Tour "prize". I put it in quotes because there is no way I'm getting to either of the parks in the next few years. Even tho I'd love to.

I think it's a great prize for those that are already planning on going, but for everyone else, it's not really a prize. You have to spend Money to get this prize. Money for transportation to get there. Money for parking. Money to get into the park. Plus, you're not going to spend the money to get into the park just to get your "prize". So you're going to spend the day there and spend more money on food. Then of course for those that don't live near the parks, you have to spend money on a hotel. The company is betting everything that you're going to spend tons of money just for being "cool" in this game.

I also am not going to waste my time playing the Jungle Cruise to try to get a top score because in the 10 minutes I'd play it, I can get the very same amount of credits playing 5 times in less than 10 minutes. You only get 100 for placing in the top 10 and a coupon requiring you to go to one of the parks to get your tent room. I found that out this morning.

I can understand getting special things when you go to the parks. But having to go to the parks to get your prize for "winning" a game is not really a prize.

Oh. I have 2 VIP Tour vouchers if anyone wants them. I don't expect anything in return. IM me if you want one.
*edit* I have already given both away. Sorry.

I have got two left and are almost finished This sounds very excited and I will be happy if i get it

It's true! (Sort of...)

First, see the unaltered screen capture from my VMK Hidden Mickey Quest status box in VMK Central:

Now - here's how I think it happened:

Early on, I had some trouble with one particular Hidden Mickey in Storybookland. I took the picture, and the Mickey stood out, but VMK didn't give me credit - just stored it in my photo album, and it never showed up in my quest diary. I reported it a couple of times with no response.

Then, as I was closing in on 50, I discovered that two Mickeys on a particular page were being misrecorded in the diary. Let's say the one by a water feature was being recorded as one that was part of a land mass, and vice versa. I had both, but noted that they weren't showing in the same order I found them (weeks apart). So I reported that, and again mentioned the Storybookland problem.

A day or so later, as I added one or two more Mickey's to my collection and checked my tally, I noticed that I suddenly had more than I expected. (I kept a list in a spreadsheet - yes, I'm a geek.) Still, my quest diary was accurate, except that I did now have credit for the Storybookland Mickey. (I had already had credit, albeit transposed, for the two misrecorded Mickeys.) Somehow, VMK staff must have bumped my tally without actually adding Mickey's to my diary.

To wrap this long story up, I was still dedicated to the task and pursued my remaining Mickeys. Last week, I found my last one. I now have 50 - both in my list and in the quest diary - but my tally reports 53!

Coda: In the midst of some techincal mishap (compounded because I wasn't expecting it when it must have come), I missed the message about the cool free tour. (I did get my Golden Oswald and, I think, some credits.) I've since asked VMK to send it again, and cteddiesgirl has given me one of her extra tour certificates { THANKS! :earsboy: } in case they don't come through.

So - 53. Can anybody top that? :cool1:

Bad on me - bad! I really need to keep my GIFs and JPGs straight. This is the true link:

And since I just saw the button to add an image, here it is so you don't have to click:

I can't get on tour! We have 2 tour cards each and a 50 hidden mickeys coupon and can't get there early enough to get on tour. We can only go on weekends. They book in 10-15 minutes. Saturday will be EE so although we are going to try again on Saturday, we can't get in EE and traded our tickets in for APs. So wish us luck. Any suggestions?

I got my coupon for the tour. I am going the first week of December. Do I wait until the day I go to magic kingdom and go straight to city hall in the morning to sign up or can you book it at the resort you are staying at. Any details will be helpful. Thanks.

That is something I'm wondering also.

1.Can you call a number to make advanced bookings for this VMK tour before you arrive at WDW?

2.Can you make bookings for the VMK tour at your hotel when you arrive?

3.If you have to wait to you physically go to the Magic Kingdom, do you book the VMK tour at City Hall or do you go to the VMK center? Which is it?

I can't get all the hidden mickeys becasue whenever I go to StorybookLand, it freezes on the o in book :badpc:

do you mean that you can't even get into storybook land. I just went in and had no problem. I would try again. I haven't been on the vmk very long but I found that sometimes the program won't let me do something and the next day I can. Hope you are able to do it.
