5 weeks to go....

.....so we're ordering up our park tickets this week and starting to keep a sharp eye on car hire deals! We're after an SUV of any size and go 14/10 thru 4/11, best deal so far has been hertz staff rate at £395

Topped up my fairfx card today with another £500, the rate peaked up just now at 1.5405 which i am really happy with so grabbed it!!

Did I mention it's only 5 weeks till we go?

This is such an awesome stage of the countdown isn't it?! I love the last few weeks. It's a bitter sweet mix between feeling like time has come to a halt, yet enough things to do that you can't do too far in advance to keep the reality of going soon alive ..... ahhhh listen to me

Was that FairFX rate today? I might just add some into my card while it's good. I'm generally happy with anything close enough to 1.50 but if it goes over I top up as and when through the year. I didn't actually look today but it was 1.516 at the Cheque Centre in town this morning

Over the weekend it was 1.538, this morning it was at 1.515, and I was still happy enough with that, but by the time I actually had chance to top up it had risen to 1.5405

Love this time of planning, last few things to do that get left late by 'seasoned travellers' such as car hire, park tickets etc.... now the summer holidays are out of the way a few of the online ticket agencies have dropped their universal 2-park ticket from £110 to £100, and one of them (american attractions i think without checking) has dropped the 21 day WDW to £275 from £285
