Hey guys,

Just wondering, WWYD? We are doing one day per park, and have 4 kids from 5-9 but also two adult coaster junkies. The kids are 44" plus, so will ride anything they're big enough for.

Are the passes worth getting? Crowd levels are showing as "moderate".

Thanks :goodvibes

No need to get them beforehand. Wait until you are in the park so you can see the crowds for yourself and make a more informed decision. Buying them in advance locks you in to the date and park you specify, and they are nonrefundable. The only downside to waiting is that the price of them may increase, but I still think it's worth it to wait.

Thanks. Youch though, they were showing 25.99 when I checked, if that increased we probably wouldn't bother!

That price is actually on the low end of the spectrum, and suggests Universal predicts the crowds won't be all that bad.

I would never buy the Express Pass. I've been to both parks countless times and I always get there at least 20 minutes before scheduled opening. It is very easy to do all of Islands minus WWHP in 2 hours riding Spiderman, Hulk, and the Dragons repeated times. Then go get in the single rider line at WWHP when lines start to be more than 10 or 15. If you arrive at the parks after 10:30 then yes you might consider buying Express, but you still have to wait in line for WWHP or RIP RIDE ROCKIT(I think) and you only will ride the other rides once each. If you want to go in late to the parks I'd stay on site and get the Express for free.

When we first booked our upcoming trip in Nov the price for the EP was $25 and now when I look the price is $49.99 so what might have been 'doable' is now way too expensive:furious:

Not too disappointed as we will be doing more than one day at both US & IOA sow will pace ourselves if it's really busy:cool1:

$25.99 is cheap..Christmas week the Express pass has gone as high as $59 per park.just for the express pass, and if it is that crowded it is worth EVERY penny

Thanks for the help. I guess we should be fine to skip, well just get there super early :)
