p.s I am keeping the pirates/princess night a surprise until we get there.

Wow. Just reading how excited you are makes me want to cry. That and the fact that I just hit my broken toe, but how exciting! I'll think of you and how lucky your family is when I'm opening my gifts.

Not only does :disrocks: , so do you. What an awesome Mom & Dad you are for surprising your kids.

Awwwww!!!!! How exciting! Honestly, I have tears in my eyes right now! One of my favorite trips to WDW was with my best friend two years ago. I got to experience the magic of Disney for myself, as well as with someone who had never experienced it before. Have a wonderful time! :)

Very exciting, I can never keep going to Disney a secret. I get so wrapped up in the trip that I have to keep talking about it. Or all the information that I find here on the DIS boards. Have a great time.

I have been keeping a Disney trip a secret too!!! I am taking my step DD to Disney in January. She will also find out on Xmas day. I took my DS in APril for spring break, and she couldnt go so..............Her Dad and I decided to surprise her. I am not one to keep secrets. I am so excited for her I could explode. Its all planned out ............just ready for us to arrive!! 23 days and counting!! :cool1:

what is cooler than surprising kids with a disney trip?
best thing i have ever done,
cant wait to do it again, jan 15th
we are still thinking how we are gonna do it.
last time we woke them on a school day and put them right on a plane.
that was a lot of fun.
this time we are probably driving, might just pretend we are going somewhere else.

I don't know if I could keep a trip a secret?! DH and I have talked about a possible cruise in 4th Quarter next year - if we decide to go I'm gonna try to keep it a secret but I think I would just burst!!
Keep the video camera handy to catch their expressions when they open their Disney packages!!!

Have a great trip!!!

I would love to see their faces when they open it :cloud9:

Please take plenty of pictures and post them for us. I would love to see their faces on Christmas morning.

I'm doing the same thing but Mickey is calling on x-mas day and I can't wait to see the look on there faces when they hear him on the other end and tell them there going to WDW. We just moved and they think we can't afford it this year. :woohoo: :woohoo: I booked this in November and it has been soooo hard keeping my mouth shut :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Christmas this year is going to be soooo goood and exciting I'm the one who is going to burst on Christmas day :p :p :p

One more sleep until the kids find out about the trips!!!
I am so excited I will not be able to sleep!
19 days and counting!!:cool1:

I wish I could have kept our trip a secret and surprised our kids - instead I told our kids the minute I booked in back in July - my hubby tells me I am just like a kid -

Well.......................We gave our Daughter the silly poem i wrote to let her know she was going to Disney. She cried.............this will be her first time going. I tried to take pictures of the her reaction but i was crying and trying to hide it (they were awful) Today i let her watch the planning DVD to get an idea about what to expect...........I sincerely believe she will not have a clue until we get there. After that she will be addicted!!:rotfl2: 17 days and counting............

I did the same thing - my girls are young 3 and 1 so I don't think they totally got it but it was fun. I had bought them Disney Princess dresses and put them in a bag with the Disney DVD. We opened the bag, they liked the dresses. Then we put the DVD in and explained Santa left instructions to watch. I finally asked my 3 year old if she knew where we were going. She didn't know so I said 'To see Mickey Mouse'.

That is so cute! I wish I could have held off until Christmas, but I told the kids even before the trip was booked. It'll be a first trip for all of us, so we still don't know what we're in for, but excited to say the least!

They got so much Disney stuff for Christmas including Sorrry Disney Game, Scene It Disney, Disney Dollars, Disney sweatshirts, matching Disney t-shirts...you get the idea! :thumbsup2
